We’re back showing off who it is that keeps the water bowls full and the pack in line.

Introducing JESS

The founder of Wet Nose & Cosy Toes, Jess made the move into dog boarding and walking and encouraged Wil to do the same.

After a career as a registered vet nurse, family life saw the need for change and the inspiration for this little business occurred, 4 years on and here we are!

With big plans for the future Jess will often be seen out walking with the littlest Wet Nose apprentice as well as Mr Cosy Toes himself- but watch this space to hear more about them later.

Heading into April, we have 2 regular daycare spaces now open,
one on a Monday and
one on a Wednesday!

This is the perfect opportunity to help your pup build confidence, socialise, and form friendships outside of the home

At Wet Nose & Cosy Toes, I provide a true home-from-home experience, where your dog becomes part of the family.

A typical daycare day includes:
🐾 Social time with our friendly resident dogs
🐾 Walks out and about
🐾 Plenty of playtime in our purpose-built dog garden

A little announcement… 🐾

After lots of chats, planning, and maybe a couple of cocktails. I’m really excited to share that Wet Nose & Cosy Toes – Suffolk will be officially joining forces with my sister, Jess, the original Wet Nose & Cosy Toes in Scotland.

For those who don’t know the story - Jess started Wet Nose & Cosy Toes up in Scotland and after seeing how successful it became, I launched Wet Nose & Cosy Toes – Suffolk. Following her lead and building the same kind of loving, home-from-home care here.

Now it feels like the right time to bring the two sides together under one umbrella.

The good news is very little will be changing day to day. Your dogs will still receive the same love, care, and attention you know and trust, and I’ll still be the one looking after all of the Suffolk doggos.

What will be new is:
• a fresh new logo
• some snazzy new clothing (you may have seen already 🤣)
• a new website with all our information and T&Cs in one place - coming soon.
• and you might start to see a little more from Scotland popping up on our socials too!

It’s a really exciting step that lets us grow the Wet Nose & Cosy Toes family while keeping everything that matters exactly the same.

Thank you as always for trusting me with your dogs - it means the world. 🐾

It’s my turn! 🫠

I’m Wil!

Your friendly neighbourhood dog lover. Starting this business up off the back of some sage advice from my sister was the best thing I could have done.

I am at my happiest when surrounded by dogs and am so proud to be trusted to look after your wet nosed pals.

Stepping away from the secure corporate life is a scary move and one that I hadn’t really thought about, but I’m so much better for it.

I’ll be out walking in all weather, sneaking your dogs onto the sofa at every opportunity I get and giving them the best holiday, walk or day I possibly can, every time.

MEET THE TEAM!

This week the man that makes it all possible.

ROB

12 years and counting, Rob has been supporting and backing all my ideas and projects.
He has been there through it all and continues to support me in making everything I do possible.

He may be seen on the odd meet and greet, likely out in the garden, or out on a walk with me. He will also always swoop in and support my work with the dogs, while also making sure that the dogs are getting the best care they can while they’re in our home!

What a very wet and soggy start to February it has been and today was no exception.

Thankfully the pack all love a bit of mud and Paddy especially loves the water!!

MEET THE TEAM

Fergus

Our little cave dweller Fergus has brought us a lot of love and joy since he came home. Living up to all things typical terrier he is stubborn beyond measure and it has taken some and patience to get his training right.

He is a little cave dweller loving a crate or a blanket he can hide in or under. He loves a walk and to run about playing with the other dogs. He will always try and be the boss regardless as to who he is playing with, size means nothing, but never goes too far.

He will usually be found out with Basil and I although sometimes he prefers to spend time curled up at home with Douglas. He really gets the best of both worlds.

Today has been a busy day with a lot of future business planning meaning I didn’t quite get to record today’s Walkies like I planned.

I figured we could all do with a little sunshine so here’s a throw back to blue skies and short weather! ☀️

MEET THE TEAM

Following on from last weeks post about Douglas it’s time to introduce you to

BASIL

Basil joined us when he was 5months, having started life as an expected gun dog unfortunately Basil was terrified of loud noises so the gun dog life was not for him!

Instead he was welcomed into our house of wayward stays and loved for every second. Basil taught us a lot about dealing with dogs with anxiety and managing this. He requires constant company whether that be paws or palms he just needs a friend.

He will likely always be found with me out on my walks as he aligns with all things spaniel when it comes to walks and there’s no such thing as too much.

Due to his gentle nature and need for company he is ideal for our boarders. Helping to keep them entertained and usually choosing to snuggle up with his new friends.

We wouldn’t change a thing. 🐾
