We had a very successful Spring Fayre. Thank you to everyone that visited or made a donation on line. As well as raising money and meeting many friends old and new we also managed to secure new homes for 7 of our cats, which is a fantastic result. Thank you one and all!

We are in the news! Come and see us today for our Spring Fayre 10-2 at 181 Cauldwell Hall Road Ipswich.

Hoping our wonderful supporters can help us out. We have a new washing machine at the Centre which needs to be carried upstairs to the laundry room. We don't have enough able bodied people to do it at the moment so we are hoping someone can help us out.

We have been a bit quiet lately due to absence amongst both staff and volunteers. However, we are now back up and running and what's more we are now open on Friday mornings, meaning you can visit us on any morning except Sunday. See you soon!

⭐ Cat of the Week ⭐️
This weeks cat of the week is the lovely Pudding! Pudding is a 7 year old female cat who came to us through no fault of her own. She is very friendly and loves a fuss, she also enjoys her treats. Pudding is looking for a home where she can have access to plenty of spaces up high as this is where she loves to spend most of her time, cat trees and wall mounted cat shelves and hammocks would be ideal for this lovely girl. If you think that you could be the right match for Pudding then please don’t hesitate to contact us 🐈‍⬛

We are seeking applications from individuals who would be available to join us on a permanent part time contract. Duties are focused on ensuring our approximately 20 rescue centre cats are fed and cleaned in the mornings as well as answering telephone and in person enquiries and showing the cats to potential adopters. Hours of work are approximately 9 to 12 and we are looking for one, two or perhaps three mornings per week between Monday and Friday. You would be joining a small team of staff and volunteers who ensure the Centre is covered every morning and every evening 7 days a week and as such a willingness to swap as well as take on additional shifts to cover absence would be of benefit. Hourly rate currently £12.10 subject to review from 1st April. Closing date 28th March 2025.

We are also seeking volunteers to assist at our centre. We operate a second hand shop Monday to Saturday 10 to 12 and need help to make sure all shifts are covered. Alongside these duties many of our volunteers work alongside our staff to help with targeted rehabilitation and socialisation of our cats either immediately before shop hours or in periods where the shop is quiet.

Application forms and job descriptions are available from [email protected] by calling 01473 727496 or in person from our shop during opening hours 10 to 12 Monday to Thursday and Saturday

We wanted to share the exciting news that recently we have managed to find loving homes for two of our longest residents. Darwin was with us for 9 months and went from being a wild one to a much more loving purring chap. Tinks has been with us for 16 months and has come through various medical traumas whilst remaining a wonderfully affectionate boy before now finally finding the happy home he deserves.
