😺🏠Special Home sought for Sooty🏠😺

Sooty is a handsome, healthy all-black male aged around 6 years.
We believe a farm, small holding, stables, or similar environment may be ideal for him.

He has now been with us for over a year and a half, which is much longer than we had hoped and has understandably led to some frustration on his part.

Everything must be done on Sooty's terms and he is not big on cuddles or affection, although this may change once he is in the correct environment.
He does love food and treats and this is how we have managed to gain some of his trust here at the centre.
He needs his own space and enjoys lounging is sunny spots.
Despite all this, we all have a lot of love for Sooty!

He requires a patient and experienced owner with no children, dogs or other cats in the home.

We believe Sooty would benefit from his own room with views of outside as he initially settles in. During this time, he will require a lot of enrichment.
Eventually he will need access to a large outdoor space to roam and enjoy his own company, but still with access to indoor space so he can come and go as he pleases.

If you think you can offer Sooty a suitable home, please do get in touch.
Alternatively, pass on his details to anyone you may know who might be able to offer him the environment he deserves. Animal Welfare Centre is open to rehoming further afield than just Suffolk or East Anglia.

😺Introducing Selene😺
*NOW REHOMED*

Selene is a beautiful white and calico female aged 11 months.
She has been with us for 2 months, in which time she has been through a failed rehoming that was no fault of her own.

Selene is the sweetest, cuddliest girl and will stick close by your side once she realises she is safe.
All she wants is to be someone's best furry friend forever!

She is in great health, neutered and fully vaccinated; ready to go to her forever home immediately.

Selene does NOT get along with other cats so will need to be the only cat of the household. She deserves all the attention after all!
She can be rehomed with both older and younger children however.
Selene will need to be kept indoors for an extended period of time but can eventually have access to a SAFE and SECURE outdoor space.

If you can offer Selene all the time and attention she so very deserves, and meet the requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.

😺Introducing Cleo😺

Cleo is the sweetest 6 year old girl! She has been with us since the end of April.

Cleo is the friendliest cat who has the loudest purr! She loves nothing more than cuddles and attention and it is hard not to stay and make a fuss of her all day!

She is neutered and will be fully vaccinated at the time of rehoming.
Cleo has major fur loss covering the majority of her back end. It is NOT a health concern and we believe it was due to stress and an allergic reaction so we are hoping to see improvement overtime.

Cleo's stress was a result of living with other cats so she is NOT to be rehomed with other animals.
However, due to her loving nature, she can be around younger and older children.

If this gorgeous girl sounds like the perfect fit for your household and you can provide her with lots of fuss and attention, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.

Come and see us on the 13th, all welcome!

😺Introducing Atlas😺
*NOW REHOMED*

Atlas is a gorgeous male aged approximately 5 years. He has been with us for almost a month now.

Atlas is a very sweet boy who loves cuddles and fuss but equally enjoys exploring his surroundings, checking everything is to his satisfaction!

He is neutered and will be fully vaccinated at the time of rehoming.

Atlas likes being the boss and for this reason he is NOT to be rehomed with other cats.
He can, however, be rehomed with both younger and older children.
He requires a loving home that will provide him with lots of cuddles as well as independence.
He can eventually have access to a SECURE outdoor space but must initially be an indoor cat to help him settle into his new home.

If this lovely boy sounds like the purr-fect addition to your household, please reach out for more information and help us find Atlas the home he deserves.

😺Introducing Marlene😺
*NOW REHOMED*

Marlene is a beautiful 11 year old DSH with white and tabby markings. She has been with us since the beginning of January.

Marlene is a very sweet girl but can be a little grumpy sometimes. However, once she gains your trust, she does enjoy a little fuss on her own terms!

Marlene is fully vaccinated and neutered. When she came to us she was overweight but overtime, she has lost some weight and we have seen great improvements in her mobility!

Marlene is not happy around other cats and so must be the only cat in the household. It is also not recommended that she be placed with younger children.
She requires a loving, patient home with an experienced owner that will provide stimulation through play but also allows her to have her independence.

If this gorgeous girl sounds like she might be the perfect companion for you, please do not hesitate to contact us for information.
