here is a Catio we manufactured and then installed, on the existing base, on Thursday for a “family” of Maine C**n cats.
It has 14 gauge wire (thinner wire cuts pads!) and additional shelves, shelter and stairs.

Well as you may have noticed we have changed our name from Brownies Bespoke Aviaries to Amazing Aviaries, changed the phone number to 07510 544450 and changed our website slightly.
You will still be able to find our website if you use brownies bespoke aviaries until the end of August, when the domain name will be deleted. Hope you like our new logo….

The 2023 PDSA Animal Wellbeing (PAW) Report has found that 94% of pet owners say owning a pet makes them happy, with 44% going as far to say that their four-legged friend has been a lifeline during the cost of living crisis. They survey was taken from 5,507 dog, cat, and rabbit owners aged over 18 and living across the UK and found that nearly every one of them - 90% - felt having a pet improved their lives. Now, we already knew that didn’t we? Many of us keep our cats indoors for several reasons: they're protected from getting lost, getting into fights, getting run over. Keeping cats as indoor pets also protects the other natural wildlife and lessens the chances of our cats catching diseases. However, cats are naturally inquisitive, they need exercise and will be destructive if bored - hence the rise in popularity of the 'catio'! Catios are enclosed outdoor spaces that allow your pets to enjoy the outdoors in a safe and secure environment. They can vary in size and design and can be attached to your house, or stand-alone. If you're just starting in bird keeping, there are several things to think about:
* Start small - learn about bird care with a few birds
* Think about the right location
* Choose an aviary made from high quality materials, designed to withstand the elements
* Provide plenty of enrichment for your birds
* Plan a maintenance routine that you can keep to
* Ask for advice - there are lots of online forums and bird keeping groups you can join
