🐾 Ever wondered what your dog could do with their nose? 🐾

Tracking is one of the most calming, confidence building activities you can do with your dog and it’s suitable for all breeds, all ages, and all abilities.

No speed.
No hype.
Just focus, teamwork and your dog doing what they were born to do 🐕

In our Introduction to Tracking / Bronze Tracking Workshop, dogs learn to:
👃 Follow human track scent (footsteps in the ground)
🐾 Work calmly with their nose down
🔍 Indicate dropped articles
🧭 Follow the correct route taken

This is mentally tiring, deeply satisfying work especially brilliant for:
✔️ Busy brains
✔️ Dogs who struggle with focus
✔️ Dogs who need confidence building
✔️ Owners wanting something different (and impressive!)

🌞 Socialisation walks are now available to book until the end of September!

🐕 These walks are perfect if you and your dog want to socialise in a safe and controlled environment.

🙍‍♀️ There is always at least one qualified member of the team overseeing the session. This means someone is always on hand to give feedback, make sure the dog's body language is listened to and make sure things run smoothly.

🤗 There are no off lead dogs, no forced interactions and no flooding.

🏆 This is why we are multi-award-winning. The dog's welfare always comes first because we follow the most up to date science based training. No nasties, no punishment and no aversive tools.....only kindness, respect and positive reinforcement training allowed.

🐶 We have dogs that have attended these sessions literally for years, some dip in and out and some are happy with just seeing how the sessions run.

🐾 Loose Lead Walking Success 🐾

Meet Mason the Dalmatian x Spaniel 💛

Mason recently completed his 1-2-1 Loose Lead Walking Workshop with Zee 👏🐶

His human had spent years trying to improve Mason’s walking, but despite lots of effort, they felt like they were getting nowhere fast. The final straw came when the constant pulling resulted in repetitive strain and a need for physiotherapy.

Zee worked intensively with Mason and his human throughout the course, going back to basics and helping both dog and handler understand the skills needed for calmer, more comfortable walks 🌟

And Mason did amazingly well! 👏

Walks should now be far more enjoyable for everyone involved, exactly how they should be 💛🐾

😯 Another bin post on your Facebook feed.....but this could save an animals life!

🐕 I had an email today to say a dog had been rushed into the vet for emergency surgery. A contractor had left the gate open and the dog got out of the garden. It's thought that he got into an unlocked food bin and had a feast on some bones. These then became lodged in his mouth and tummy. Emergency surgery removed a chicken wing from his stomach.

❤️ Thankfully his humans were quick to respond and he is now on his road to recovery.......but this could have ended very badly.

🗑 We all have the new food waste caddies and they are the perfect height for animals to open. I have seen lots that have been left out with the handle sticking up making them easy pickings. These can easily be opened by scavenging animals and the results could be devastating.

🥰 Whatever your opinion on the bins.....please make sure they are securely locked to prevent any unnecessary harm. The picture shows exactly how to lock them.

😍 These generally sell out months in advance so be quick to book!

✅️ Relaxed atmosphere
✅️ Secluded area just for us
✅️ Lovely walks nearby
✅️ Option to stay after the session when the pub opens to the public

☕️ In these 1 hour sessions you can buy a coffee at the bar and learn how to help your dog relax in a pub/cafe environment.

⏰️ Sessions are kept small and only 1 hour long so your dog is set up for success. We don't expect your dog to settle while you're eating a meal......this is something for you to aim for. These sessions are short and sweet so no one fails.

👀 We will watch each dogs body language, go through some decompression techniques and ultimately help your dog (and you) feel calm.

📅 Currently these will be 1 per month but may increase in the future.

🐕 A maximum of 6 dogs per session and only £15 per dog. Dogs can bring as many well behaved humans as they like!

Meet Goose the Irish Setter 💛

Goose has recently completed his 1-2-1 Rapid Recallers course with Zee 👏🐶

Being a typical happy-go-lucky Setter, Goose just needed a little extra help building a more reliable recall 🌟

As with all good recall training, we stripped things right back and focused first on engagement, focus and impulse control, before moving onto the more detailed recall work. Those foundations are absolutely vital for long term success 🐾

Goose worked brilliantly throughout the course and made fantastic progress 👏

Although… as you can see, he’s still not convinced about having his photo taken 😅📸💛
