We have been contacted by people in the US and UK now. This Instagram account is using our logo and claiming we are their UK branch.

They are using are logo without permission and we are not affiliated with them in any way.

Evidence sent to us strongly suggests they are a scam. Avoid anyone who offers to deliver a puppy and have you pay via Google Play or PayPal.

Got some more info. If someone saying they are from Lynwood Kennels tries to sell you a puppy ...asking for payment through Google Play voucher or PayPal.

Don't do it!

We've been made aware a company saying they are in the US and the UK are using our name and logo. We have asked them to stop but are getting no answer!

We suspect they may be a puppy farm or some other sort of scam.

We are permanently closed at our previous location, based in Scotland and do not sell puppies!

If you have spoken to them or liked the page at their request ....please be careful!

What is Alex up to? Dog Training / Behaviour / Dog Sports

Since closing the doors on Lynwood Kennels, you might be forgiven to think that Alex has been sitting with his feet up.

For those of you who know Alex, nothing could be further from the truth. Alex has returned his focus on dog training / behavioural work, via K9 Insight. In addition to 'K9 Insight', Alex has also started up ‘Next Level Training’, which delivers dog sports coaching and training within UK Dogsport.

Alex has been involved in dog training for over 10 years and is in the final stages of becoming a chartered Animal Behaviourist, with 'The Centre of Applied Pet Ethology' (COAPE).

Good kennels are hard to find.

Unfortunately Lynwood Kennels have left the building but in its abscence we would like to point you in the right direction.

Anyone who knows Nikki and I, know that we have extremely high standards, especially when it comes to animal care - so any endorsement is not given lightly.

After visiting and getting into the nuts and bolts of their operation, we have no hesitation in recommending 'Moss Croft Country Kennels'.

Their facilities are fantastic and their approach to care are in harmony with our own.

REFUNDS - URGENT!!!

Sadly, the differences with the Landlord which meant we had to give up the site at Cowhill, are still ongoing. These, combined with the economic effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic mean we, like many other small businesses across the country, find ourselves with resources depleted, lost assets and investments, which mean we are closing permanently.

These devastating losses mean it is unlikely that we will reopen for a few years.

Before the business officially closes and the bank balance is empty, we are determined to return your deposits but time and funds are short!

We have emailed everyone with a credit on their account and have emailed information again today.

LYNWOOD KENNELS - CLOSING TODAY.

We are devastated to be writing this. Three years almost to the day since we opened, Lynwood Kennels are closing the doors at our current location, permanently.

Irreconcilable differences with our Landlord mean we cannot safely or reliably re-open. Sadly, Legal Action now seems unavoidable to navigate our positions. We cannot discuss the details, so we would ask you to respect the Legal Process and please to not post anything regarding who may or may not be at fault or any unkindness or speculation.

If you have a booking with us or an outstanding credit on your account, we will be in touch over the next week with cancellation and refund information.

We have to apologise to many of our friends, who also happen to be customers and who we haven’t told personally but we know you will understand how hard it is to say goodbye to such a labor of love and why we have hunkered down as a family to heal and plan our new future.

We have loved our time with you and your companions. We were often touched by the trust that was placed with us, both with your animals and at times, your stories, your woes, your escaping dogs, and worries at leaving your family members.

We have made a little video (best efforts and sorry if you don’t see your doggie …looking through the pictures was very hard!). The video is how we would like you to remember us and hope you do not mind if we close with it and the hugest thank you for the support, loyalty, and trust over the years. It has been our absolute pleasure and we hope to see you soon. x

Up at the kennels for essential maintenance work ...more CCTV cameras.

I know they are for security .... but I am hoping they will pick up the dog fox and wild cat that like to visit.

Turning up motion sensor to max sensitivity and it alerts our phones! Gotta love technology.

Hi Pet Parent's, we hope you are all doing well and coping with the massive change in life!

Events moved very quickly for us, from around Mid-March. We have been trying to figure out how to keep staff, close our doors for a while and navigate the quickly changing landscape of business support ...

We have been getting a few emails regarding deposits, apologies for not replying. After the last few weeks, we decided to take a few days with the family and spend some much needed time with the children.

For the moment, we are relaxing our deposit position even further.

Any booking cancelled from the beginning of March because of Corona-virus, will not loose their deposit.

If you paid the full amount, we cannot refund at the moment as like most small businesses, our cash flow was devastated...but hope the Scottish Government Grant will arrive soon. Please do get in touch if this leaves you struggling in any way.

In both cases we will transfer all amounts paid to either a future booking or as a credit to use when this is all over!

We will be getting in touch with you over the next few days with an account statement.
