Tragically, on the 5th of May 2026, while hillwalking on the Isle of Arran, David, a much-loved and loving son, step-son, brother, brother-in-law, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend to many and dog-dad to his beloved Eva.

David will be sadly and sorely missed by all who knew him.

The funeral service will take place at Inverness Crematorium on Friday 29th May 2026 at 12.00 noon with D Gunn Funeral Directors, Dingwall.

All are welcome to attend, wearing whatever you want with a splash of colour, as David was never a formal kind of person. Family flowers only please.

Donations can be made at the celebration of life, for Munlochy Animal Aid and Mountain Bothies Association.

Crufts 2026 is shaping up to be big! 🤯🤩
The Gundog group is charging out in front with a powerhouse 5,253 entries, setting a blistering pace for the competition. Hot on their heels, the Hound group clocks in with 3,055, while the Utility group is closing the gap fast at 2,884.
Not far behind, the Pastoral group is putting in a mighty performance with 2,866 entries. The Toy group brings a strong 2,516, and the Terrier group is right in the mix with 2,451.

And let’s give a huge shoutout to the Working group - 1,878 entries and every one of them ready to bring the heat 🔥
We can't wait to welcome them all and crown this year's Best in Show 🏆
