Friday's footerers. So we started the day off with a wander about Templeton and everyone ended up wet and a little bit muddy. But a dirty dog is a happy dog, right? 😂 At least I managed to keep Jasper out of the thick, black mud, cos I don't think he'd appreciate getting hosed down before he was allowed back in the house.
Dropped in to see the youngest member of the crew after that. Yup. Still a menace 🤣 She's already moved on to trying to steal biscuits from the pouch. Must be pals with Luna.
Bit of a riot at lumchtime, between Buddy and Willow's mad wrestling and Mac barking at trees and/or squirrels. He had Sprout helping him with the barking today, not sure he knew what was going on but he was keen to help 🙈 At least Odin was behaving.
The big yins are back from a wee holiday so it was away round the farm to finish off the week. Didn't get anywhere fast for a change, all too busy rolling in the grass. Apart from Kaya, she's only into that on the grass in the garden 😂 Anwyay, that's me for the week folks, enjoy your weekend!

Thursday's squad. No banter today I'm afraid gang, it's a sad day in the Inverhowlie Rovers house. Had to take wee T***k, our cat, to the vet for the big sleep this afternoon. Made it to 16 and a half though, she had a good run.

Wednesday's wallopers. A dull and miserable start to the day, weather wise at least. The squad were in fine spirits regardless, everyone doing what they do best. Sniffing, pulling and mooching, I'll leave it to you to figure out who was doing what 😂 I do have to wonder if Murphy was on the sauce last night, amount of times he got tangled up in his own lead was unreal.
There's a new kid on the block, cute as a button and also a menace 😍 Say hi to Amber, a little 4 month old Labrador. She likes puppy things like, chewing beards, stealing hats and of course, biscuits.
The weather pulled the old switcheroo and it was nice and sunny by lunchtime. There was no sign of any deer for Luna to take off after, thankfully, but her and Sprout spent a lot of time eyeing up the woods. No suspicious adventures though, just 4 tinkies in a puddle 🙈
A quiet one to finish off the day, at least until Nala was factored in. Her and Kaya had a great time diving about like idiots in the sun 🤣 Was a bit hot though so we ended up on the path, under the trees. There the focus switched from capers to mooching. Predictable as clockwork.

Tuesday's troops. Away round Backmuir again with the morning patrol and meh goad, were we on the go-slow 😂 Barney's got an excuse, he's still recovering from a strained leg but no idea what was up with Murphy, he was even slower. Jasper and Kaya were more than happy to give a display of speed though, charging about through the woods like loonies.
Maybe there's something in the air today cos the Brute squad weren't their usual raucous selves at lunchtime. Buddy and Willow gave it a wee blast for a few minutes but that was about the extent of it. Maybe they were saving all their energy for mooching? Cos there was more than enough of that 🤣
Change of scene for the afternoon walk, away round Templeton with the squad. All was peace and quiet for a while, but... Poor Sprout nearly jumped out now his skin the first time Mac saw a squirrel and kicked off 🙈 He'll get used to the insane barking at some point, I'm sure. It's just background noise at this point 😂

Monday's moochers. Well, the morning patrol didn't quite go to plan. Auld Barney is still nursing a sore leg and I couldn't get in to get Skye out for walkies, the key was missing 🙈 So it was just Murphy and Kaya having a wee daunder about the woods. They both did their level best to make sure that we got through the same amount of biscuits that 4 dogs would though 😂 Team players both of 'em.
The lunchtime walk started off relatively peaceful, but that all went in the bin after a trip to the big puddle. Then the capers started 🤣 Good to see wee Sprout joining in again but he is not a fan of ear inspections. Luna kept herself out of it and just used the distraction to try and steal bsicuits. Pest.
The big beasties are on holiday so a wander about the park instead of the farm to finish the day off. Was a bit hot by then so the shade was welcome. Plus, no-one got headbutted away from the water bottle, so that was a nice change 😂 Nala still rolling in the dirt at every opportunity though, so some things stay the same.

Friday's furry fudds. Sorry gang, late the night. Got dragged to the pub for tea, totally against my will, obviously. So Barney had to sit the morning patrol wanders out cos he's hurt his paw. So seeing as how it was just Skye and Kaya, I let Skye off to have a run around for a bit. Had to get her back after 25 minutes or so cos she wouldn't stop and I was a bit concerned about her wee heart 😂 Daftie.
Some good old capers at lunchtime, Willow had a lot of love to dish out but of course being a Mal her love comes with teeth 🙈 Little Sprout was joining in too, which was good to see. Him and Buddy were well and truly run ragged.
Finished off the week with the usual farm wanders and thankfully, no wildlife related shenanigans. Just the usual mooching and Daimon shoving the rest of them out of the way to get to the water bottle. Shy Huskies get nought, after all 🤣 Anyway, that's me for the week folks, enjoy your weekend!

Thursday's squad. Another go-slow adventure with the morning patrol to start the day off. There's too much good sniffing to be had around Backmuir to go anywhere fast, apparently. We can forgive Barney for moving slow at least, poor wee fella hurt his leg somehow 🙈 Certainly wasn't by running around anyway 😂 Hopefully he'll be fine after a bit of rest.
By comparison, the Brute squad were giving it laldie. Tucker was being a daftie and grabbing Bear's lead, I've tried telling him he's going to end up with a broken jaw but he'll no listen. And there's clearly something wrong with Bailey, took him 40 minutes to find a ball today 🤣 Then Bear tried to eat it. Willow still being a gobsh*te.
The Extreme Fetch league kicked off again after the heat cancelled it last week. There was all the usual thrills and spills, but we took a break for a few minutes so I could keep Mabel out of the stinky puddle cos it's extra stinky right now 🤢 Despite being an auld manny, Opie was today's winner and joins Mabel at the top of the leaderboard. Cos sometimes you just need to remind all these young whippersnappers who the man is up in this beast. Yes, that was. Denzel Washington reference.

Wednesday's wallopers. On the go-slow first thing with the morning patrol. That's right, even wee Skye wasn't in a hurry this morning. But before that, Skye and Kaya had to have a shouting match with the massive family of swans that were loitering about the car park 🙈 Once that was done, they were all just quite content pootling along, not a care in the world, noses to the ground, lugs switched aff. Stick your hand in the treat pouch though and watch them start paying attention quick enough 😂
Had the grand total of 10 minutes of blistering sunshine when we got going at lunchtime. Think everyone, me included, was quite glad when it clouded over a bit. Luna was absolutely on her worst behaviour today, trying to chase deer and stealing biscuits, menace that she is 🤣 The boys amused themselves with a lot of running in circles, wee Sprout was happy just to watch this time.
Nothing but wildlife related capers to contend with on the last walk of the day 🙄 First it was a wee bunny with a deathwish, then a lost fawn prancing about the fields (Mac was very excited about that one) before finally, a damn farm cat with zero sense. Just call me Stretch Armstrong from now on.

Tuesday's troops. Away round Backmuir to start the day off with the morning patrol. Absolutely cleaned oot of biscuits by the end, as if having Bailey and Kaya there wasn't bad enough, I got mugged by a gang of 5 other Labradors too! 😂 Murphy and Sprout were helping too to be fair but they have much smaller mouths. Barney still too interested in sniffing to give much of a hoot about biscuits. He's consistent.
Cosmo joined the Brute squad at lunchtime, and mayhem ensued. Poor Willow's lugs were getting licked from both sides 🤣 She's no shy about asserting her boundaries though. There was a lot of running about in circles and a dip in the now very stinky puddle. Bear gave up on all that after a bit cos he was knackered, still found the energy to try and take off after a deer 2 minutes before home time though. Bam.
A much more civilised affair to finish off the day, if you're willing to turn a blind eye to no small amount of mooching 🙈 Now Mac is a crafty bu**er, being a Collie and all, and he's obviously clocked that everyone who waits patiently while I pick up p**p gets a biscuit. So he's taken to squeezing out a wee p**p at a time and doing this about half a dozen times during a walk 😂 I'm not mad, I admire the hustle. Does mean I was out of biscuits again by the end though.

Monday's moochers. Starting off the week with a wee wander around Templeton with the morning patrol. Not a working lug between them, they all had their own ideas about where they wanted to be going. At different speeds of course 🙈 If there's any smarty-pants out there that could invent a lead de-tangler, that'd be great. Or maybe I'll go for sausages on a stick and attach them to their harnesses...
A new boy joined the squad at lunchtime, so say hello to Sprout. He's actually one of Kaya's oldest friends but he's a bit of an anxious wee man sometimes. Tucker picked up on that pretty quick and was remarkably calm and well behaved. Cosmo less so 😂 He got Sprout joining in with some running about in circles eventually, which Tucker was more than happy to join in with. Luna was just looking at them like they were all mental.
Wasn't too hot so we got the big man out for a wander about the farm with the rest of the afternoon squad. Nala discovered she really likes rolling in straw, but then again, she really likes rolling in everything. Things nearly went downhill when they found a dead crow in the bushes and I had to wrestle Bella away from it 🤢 Never would've got that off her...
