💕 Ernie would be super pleased if you could help Candy Jones publish her illustrated book about IVDD. All the money raised from the sales of these books will go to the dachshund breed council for research into ivdd and Dedicatedtodachshunds with IVDD.

Norman was with us overnight for a trial and will be staying later next month for a while. Think he enjoyed his short stay.

DACHSHUND RESPITE CARE CLOSURE

After much thought we have decided to close Dachshund Respite Care officially at the end of 2018 with no new bookings taken for the remainder of the year.
I have contacted all clients with existing confirmed bookings and they can be safe in the knowledge that these are all fine.
Any outstanding meet and greets and unconfirmed bookings will not go ahead.

It is regrettable that this decision has been made but for a variety of reasons the business is not working the way it was originally intended. The financial loss over the last 6 months with the stress that some dogs have caused doesn’t warrant continuing.
Ernie and Holly also have their own significant health issues and it isn’t always fair on them so I would like to devote more time in ensuring their health and well being.

Although we haven’t officially closed the doors yet, I would like to thank family, friends, the wonderful clients and dogs whom we will miss dearly, for their support and kindness over the last 2 years. ❤️
