The specification - jump saddle!
Ella and Tom have been increasing their jumping work, increasing the height and adding various scary fillers so she found the GP saddle they had wasn’t quite doing it anymore. We tried a couple of styles with different blocks and seat depths and here we are flying around a course of jumps in their new saddle!

A few months ago I met this gorgeous pony, he had some severe atrophy, his top line was very lacking and he hollowed away from the saddle. The saddle he had was far too wide so we sent it to the manufacturer for them to work their magic 🪄
Meanwhile they worked alongside a super physio exercising and stretching as instructed (just take a look at them practicing their stretches here!) and made the most incredible change, I nearly fell on the floor when I returned back with his saddle! 😍 A fabulous topline developed and strong pony using its self correctly, happily and comfortably 🩶
Working alongside other equine professionals is super important for your horses wellbeing!

How often Should You Get Your Saddle Checked? 🤔

Your saddles panel can wear down, or lose shape over time. Air panels can fail and screws can come loose. That’s why it’s important to get your saddle checked every 6 months, or sooner if you notice any changes in your horse’s behavior or performance, your horse is young or work load changes. Regular checks help ensure that your saddle still fits properly, preventing discomfort or injury to your horse. Consistent checks are key to a happy, healthy ride for both you and your horse! 🐎💖

Appreciation post for all of my lovely clients 🩶

I say it every day but I absolutely love my job and I am super grateful for each and every one of you keeping me so busy!
Running a little business was tougher than I expected, driving miles each day, keeping on top of repairs, messages, admin and everything else behind the scenes means I can be running behind and have waiting times in my diary but the understanding and support from everyone of you doesn’t go unnoticed - so thankyou! 🩶

Is your saddle wool flocked? Could it be time to have it checked? Flock in saddles beds down, it’s worn down by the movement of the horse, by the way we sit, it goes hard, it can sometimes be lumpy. This is all down to use and sweat from your horse, it happens to them all and this can cause discomfort for your horse. During a saddle fitting the flock is checked, adjusted or taken to be fully reflocked then returned to you and refitted.
