🐾 🐾 First up was the lovely Scoobie! 🐾

Scoobie joined me for a refresher session on loose lead walking, where we explored what triggers him to pull forward while out and about.

His owner is doing a great job and is so committed to helping him succeed. Together we've put a plan in place to help Scoobie decompress, reduce his stress levels, and build calmer, more enjoyable walks one step at a time.

We discussed consistency, patience, and understanding, I'm looking forward to seeing how he gets on over the coming weeks. 🐶

🐾Smack bang in the middle was a wonderful puppy social 😍 💕 organised by the Lovely Cheryl from Big Dog Little Dog: Puppy and Dog training - 🐾 Which was lots of fun althought I'm not sure who was more exhausted 😴

🐾 Last but not least the extremely cute Nelly 💕 who is working super hard on her confidence. Nelly did so
well out and about. We worked on a good distance between what causes her anxiety's and she showed us just how brave she is🐾 Well done to everyone 👏 💕

A lovely 1-1 this weekend with little Nelly ❤️

Her wonderful human parents asked for support with loose lead walking, fetching and giving up her favourite toys 🧸

Nelly has also grown some anxiety around people approaching her when out walking. We discussed all of the above and put into place a training plan to help Nelly and her parents over the next few weeks. 💛

Such a shame that so many of us dog professionals have to deal with this.

We turn up, work hard, and deliver time and time again, only to be met with late payments—or sometimes no payment at all. Constantly having to chase invoices for money we've already earned is exhausting and shouldn't be part of the job. 😢

Please remember that we're running businesses too, and paying on time makes a huge difference. 💚🐾

Final destination of juggling all our lovely pals in 100-degree heat! 🥵🧘‍♀️⛲️

Okay... slight exaggeration, (nearly though) it certainly felt like it at times! 😅
What a challenge it's been for myself and all my wonderful fellow dog professionals. A huge well done to everyone who adapted their routines, started early, found shady spots, kept the paddling pools topped up, and made sure all our furry friends stayed safe and happy. 🐾💦
Here's to cooler days ahead... but until then, we'll keep doing whatever it takes to keep our four-legged pals safe and cool ❤️🐶🐈‍⬛️🐎🐑☀️ and not forgetting our 2 legged 🐓🐔

🐾 Due to Barney being super anxious and having many triggers causing over stimulation in the outside world 🌎 🐾

We wanted to start our first outdoor session slowly. So we encouraged him to sniff and lick by exploring puzzle games and licky mats using his favourite treats.

Helping Barney reach a calmer state of mind will make it easier for him to focus and engage in training.

I am also using a long line which allows Barney the freedom to explore his environment and satisfy his curiosity, while ensuring he remains safe and under control." 🐾
