Hey everyone! As you’ve probably seen, we have some seriously hot weather headed our way next week 🌡️☀️🥵

My absolute priority is the safety and comfort of your dogs. Because of this, my hot weather policy will be in place: when temperatures rise, standard daytime walks will be paused. Dogs are highly susceptible to overheating, heatstroke, and severe dehydration, as they cannot sweat and cool down as easily as we can. On top of the internal risks of heat exhaustion, pavement can quickly heat up enough to painfully burn their paw pads.

🔄 How I’m adapting next week:
To ensure your dogs still get the care and break they need, I am shifting my schedule to offer alternatives:

• 🌅 Early Morning & Evening Walks: Limited slots available during the coolest parts of the day.

• 🏡 Drop-In Home Visits: Swapping your usual walk for a toilet break, fresh water top-up, mental stimulation games, and plenty of indoor TLC in the shade.

I will be reaching out to all scheduled clients individually over the next few days to discuss the best plan for your pup.
