Our summer club kids rustled up a real feast for the guinea pigs this morning! Some chefs in the making for sure!

The rabbits Lucky & Sooty enjoyed their relaxing visit to Halecroft Grange Care Home & the stick insects found an interesting new climbing frame at Hope ward Fairfield Hospital!

Who remembers when Sammy and Salem used to actually show up for work? 😅 🙋 Since taking early retirement in 2021 at the grand old age of 4, they have been keeping busy with a mixture of doing nothing, leaving occasional dead mice on the landing, then doing more nothing.

Whilst these days the brothers no longer live together (long story short, Salem opted to stay put when Sammy and the family moved house), they are both living very happy and contented home lives 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

We'd love to have therapy cats again one day, but unfortunately our current set-up isn't suitable. Maybe one day when we win the lottery and get the Noah's ART farm... 💭

Poppy was helping one of our regular clients with his Physiotherapy session today, under the guidance of the OT. Setting up the treat toys, and games helps him to exercise his arms and hands. Poppy is very happy to help and loves the special 1:1 attention she gets. ❤️❤️

It was so lovely to have Alfie in today, enjoying some obstacle course games and a couple of walks.
It was a privilege to watch a new special bond develop between one of our baby rats and one of our regular 1:1 clients, you dont know 'True (rat) Love' until you've been peed and pooped on, by a bruxing rat, happily sat on your shoulder ❤️❤️

Our summer club was off to a great start today, animal therapy time, a 'treasure hunt' game to find and discuss the Five Welfare Needs, painting pots and having lots of fun. Thanks guys.
