Hiking Hounds is seeking one passionate, reliable person to join our established network this September. You'll be exploring the beautiful Tameside and Peak District while providing professional care for 1-3 dogs at a time.
What This Role Involves:
Physical outdoor work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold)
Full responsibility for pet safety and wellbeing during walks
Working independently with complete autonomy over your methods
Building trusted relationships with pet families
30 minutes to 2-hour walks across stunning countryside locations
Perfect For:
Someone who genuinely loves dogs and has the right attitude - physically fit, resilient, and passionate about animal welfare. You'll need flexible availability (weekends would be great but not essential), your own reliable vehicle, and the maturity to handle the responsibility of caring for other people's beloved pets. No previous experience required - we value the right mindset and willingness to learn.

Getting Started:
We begin with a 4-week trial period where you'll establish your working methods within our agreed safety standards, with guidance available as you learn.
Earning Potential:
£12-20+ per walk (depending on service type and number of dogs)
Weekend bonus: Extra £1.25 per 30-minute slot
CPD course completion bonus: £0.25 per job
