Whitegate Boarding Kennels and Cattery Welcome to Whitegate kennels and cattery in Hyde,Cheshire. The kennels was originally opened in 1973 and we have run the business since 1997.

We are a family run business that prides itself on the welfare of the pets boarding with us. As both a pet owner and breeder of Great Danes we understand the importance of ensuring a happy stress free stay for your pets, while allowing you to enjoy your holidays safe in the knowledge that your pets are in a safe, well cared for environment. Please feel free to come and have a look round. No appointment is necessary.

Details on our dog training club

As a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor I work in construction with The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme.

The Good Citizen Dog Training scheme is open to all dogs, young or old, pedigree or crossbreed. Dogs do not need to be registered with The Royal Kennel Club to take part.

The scheme promotes responsible dog ownership by teaching owners to train their dog for everyday life situations through four award levels - Puppy Foundation, Bronze, Silver and Gold.

If you are looking for your dog to do algidity or therapy work you will need Good citizen dog Gold level first.

Next Puppy Foundation class starts 18/3/26 runs for 6 weeks and cost £50
