🪑Week 3 is all about chair searching and improving our indication on the Bronze level of UK Sniffer Dogs.

⏰ In the 6pm class, teams Luna, Winter, Tiago and Max, gave plenty of enthusiasm and smashed the searches!

🌟 We started out some simple searches with just 1 hide, then worked our way up to 3 hides on a chair, then finishing off with a line up of chairs, with differing hides 🪑

👏 Well done guys, you all rocked it and I can’t wait for novel searches to see how great you all are 🙌

📸 If your dog is a poser like my Louis, then pop down to the Mottram Show Official on Sunday 16th August and let them pose away at our stall, along with some scent work and lots of giveaways 🙌🐶🐾

📚🐶 Easy Peasy Puppy Wk3 🐶📚

🌟 Well done to team Woody, Milo & Poppy who all did so well in class 🙌

🌟 They worked on their door way manners, helping to improve their impulse control, which then leads to pups who can make calmer choices.

🐕 We also continued with some foundation steps of our loose lead walking, with the 123 pattern game.

🐶 Rounding off the class with a confidence game, paws up, which we did outside with real life distractions - before finishing up with on-lead ‘hello’ 👋

👏 Well done teams - you all did a great job! See you on Wednesday!

🌟🥳 Absolutely Chuffed!

Wow I was blown away when I received an email telling me that I’ve been nominated for Best Trainer at the Pet Industry Business Awards 😊

Whoever nominated me I’d like to say a huge Thank You, it really does mean a lot to me 🫶

🐕 I absolutely love what I do, helping dogs and their guardians, whether it’s through group classes or 1-2-1’s.

I like to think of Waggytails Dog Academy as a community, where everyone is welcome. Always training through kindness and getting the best results.

It’s also really nice to be recognised as a small business 🎉

🎉🐾 The Mottram Show – Sunday 16th August! 🐾🎉

I’m incredibly proud to be officially sponsoring the Dog Ring and the Waggiest Tail class in this year’s dog show at The Mottram Show! 🎉🐶

I’ll also be teaming up with Coco’s Dog Paddock, so if you’re coming along for the day, be sure to pop over and say hello at our stall 😊

🐾 What an incredible start to our UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze journey! 🐾

A huge congratulations to Albus, Luna, Winter, Max, Tiago, Oscar, Flora, Rogan, Cally and Justice, who have all completed their very first UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze class! 🎉👏

🙌 It was fantastic to watch every single dog embrace scent work with such enthusiasm. Seeing them use their incredible natural scenting abilities to solve problems and search with confidence is so rewarding!

Not only is scent work great fun, but it’s also incredibly enriching, giving dogs the opportunity to use the skills they were born with in a positive and rewarding way.

What makes this class even more special is the wonderful mix of dogs taking part.

We had Flora, who is just 9 months old, right through to Cally, who is an amazing 15 years old. It really goes to show that scent work is for every dog, regardless of age, breed or ability. Every dog can enjoy it, learn at their own pace and have success.

I couldn’t be prouder of how well they all did. Every single team worked brilliantly together, grew in confidence and absolutely smashed it! 🌟

Well done to you all – I can’t wait to see what you achieve as we continue your scent work journey together. 🐶♥️🐾

🫶 A massive well done to Winston, Poppy, Woody, Luna, Crumpet and Layla - you all totally smashed it 👏

🌟 Great News! 🌟

Training classes are back this week! 🐾🎉

Now that the temperatures have dropped back to a safe and comfortable level for both dogs and their humans, I’m excited to get back to learning and having fun together.

I can’t wait to see all the wonderful dogs and their owners again. Bring your treats, your enthusiasm, and your wagging tails - I’ve missed you! 🐶💙💖🐾
