I stock a variety of shampoos for all coat types, conditions and colours.

Thought I'd give the all black shampoo a whirl.
Although it won't help the aged by removing grey hairs, it definitely gave this lovely chap a bit of a shine.

As a Veterinary Nurse of 16 years, I spent 4 of those as the dental nurse, performing scaling, polishing and dental care.

This depends on the amount of tartar build up and the current state of the gums, if there is a moderate to high amount of tartar several treatments will be required.

❓Can I stay with my pet when they are getting their teeth cleaned?

Of course, that's how I work.

❓My pets teeth are in a healthy condition would you still recommend the teeth cleaning?

Yes. The aim of a good dental hygiene protocol is prevention. Regular and consistent teeth cleaning is highly recommended to maintain healthy teeth and gums.

❓Will this be harmful for my pet?

❓After initial visit and subsequent sessions, how often should I book an appointment for cleaning?

I would recommend monthly, or at your regular grooming appointments.

Weighing in at over 10kg this chap came for his first groom with me this week.
His servant was a little worried as pervious attempts at being groomed had failed, but Norman seemed to like me and was chilled throughout.

What a smashing boy. Looking forward to seeing him and his 4 siblings again soon!
