Dogs all around us this morning and for this girl just to mind her business is massive. A year ago Daisy couldn’t be in a social environment - She wouldn’t take food or be able to play of sniff due to her heightened state.

Today she had her first walk pretty much off lead around people and dogs and she did absolutely amazing. She loves to play ball on her walks now and now the lead is off life gets better from here 👏

Some awesome feedback from our pack walk yesterday! 👏

Scrumps and Kobe are both still entire so it’s a massive win for both of them as neither of them liked entire males 😂

Boys and their bits eh 🤦‍♀️

The sense of community was exactly what me and Estelle Saunders wanted to create between our clients and our community and pack walks are growing and growing! 💚🧡

What a lovely way to start the day!

Tyson’s session today hit me differently! 💙

He has always been so vigilant on his walks to other dogs that he could not listen or focus on his owner. His mind worked at 200mph and there’s a part of him that was quite overwhelmed. He was full of adrenaline, walking with his chest puffed looking for trouble.

He wouldn’t take food or even consider playing or sniffing. His job was to play family bodyguard 🤦‍♀️

We had such a great session today. We managed to break his fixation and get him working around Bex aswell as dogs generally passing by. We worked on his focus and his recall and he actually started to be a dog.

He was sniffing like he had never ever smelt anything before, he was rolling around the grass and laying down pulling himself along and it was so so nice to see him so relaxed and actually enjoy himself.

There’s plenty of work to do but it was a massive step for Tyson and his owners, they’ve never seen him so happy and relaxed in public being able to just let the world pass him by without stressing himself out.

Well done Tyson, super proud of you today mate! Was lovely to see your cuddly side too 💙

What a day! We are back in sunny West Yorkshire after a great day up in Stokesley with Oreo.

Oreo has a weeks bootcamp booked in for July and I came up today to meet him and carry out an assessment as there’s quite a lot to unpick with this lad.

He has never had an off switch from a young age so he learnt to keep himself entertained by barking at every noise outside, every door knock, every time someone went past the house. This habituated very very quickly and turned into territorial behaviour as he matured.

He resource guards, if you ask him to do something and he doesn’t want too he will snap or try bite you. He can’t be handled at the vets due to his aggression and generally walking him is just a stressful process as he will target random people and dogs.

Take him out of his home turf and he’s slightly better but still he has no groundwork on how to behave and this is essential into making him safe.

It was clear to see he is a dog who is living in fear constantly. He’s constantly triggered by movement as he’s got hyper dependency issues and he resource guards his owner as a possession.

He managed to get out of the garden last week and he did actually bite someone. He’s not thinking anymore he is just doing. His escalation of behaviour as his stress levels rising and rising to now where he can’t take it anymore and both of them are at breaking point.

This is what I was initially up against. If his owner didn’t have hold of the lead he would’ve forward aggressed so we used a muzzle for Oreo’s safety and for mine. He looked very different at the end of his session than at the beginning.

I’m going to post another video this evening of what we got up too. The first step was bringing him, his thinking state and emotional state under control 💙
