Say hello to Callie, Polly, Toby, Pepper, Baxter & Drax 🐾
Callie & Polly have joined us this week from another wonderful dog walker who’s hanging up her muck boots—such a lovely pair and settling in beautifully 💛
Pepper & Baxter, our lookalike siblings, joined us for two weeks of holiday cover while their walker was away… and as always, they slotted straight in like they never left ✨ They are back with their lovely dog walker this week and although I miss them, I still pretty much get to see them on a weekly basis 🥰
Toby, a beautiful boy with a tendency for a little extra independence (aka wandering adventures 👀), has been joining us this week and next to see how he enjoys enclosed field walks—so far, so good! He like all the other dogs in this post has had an amazing dog walker, but who has asked me to try him with me to see whether a different setting would meet his needs better.
And Drax… Alfie’s bestie (a retriever I walked prior to him moving areas) and so a familiar to me from meeting him over a few years on various walks with his owners and previous lovely dog walkers. A sensitive soul who gradually built up his time with us since December and doing so well. He thrives in a smaller group—especially on our weekend adventures (Castle Hill was a highlight!) or enclosed field sessions where he can dip in and out of the group as he pleases 🐶
Very lucky that so many of these dogs already know me and the Ultimutts crew—it makes settling in feel easy, natural, and stress-free for everyone.
