✨ AN • EXCITING • NEW • CHAPTER ✨
🕊️So many questions…
After more than a decade of running my sanctuary largely single handedly, I’m incredibly excited to have shared our big news with you all recently 🙌
As many of you know, caring for wildlife and providing sanctuary for animals has been my life for many years.
It has been a journey filled with challenges, rewards, heartbreak, and countless success stories. But no matter how much passion you have, there comes a point where you realise that together, you can achieve even more. That’s why I’m thrilled to announce that I have officially joined forces with my wonderful friends at Willowfields 🦃
This merger means that, for the first time in over ten years, I won’t be doing it all alone. Instead, I’ll be part of a dedicated team, a new family, united by the same vision and determination to help as many animals as possible.
We have already started work on a much needed larger enclosure for my disabled pigeons, who will be moving to the Willowfields site, along with some of my other birds, over the course of this year.
A number of enclosures housing my most needy birds will remain here with me, where they will continue to receive the specialist care they require.
Joining forces with Willowfields does not mean stepping away from my birds. Quite the opposite. I will still be caring for them and overseeing their welfare, along with playing a big part in maintaining the care of the many birds already safely homed at Willowfields. The difference is now I’ll have much-needed support with the day-to-day responsibilities, allowing me to do even more for the animals who need us.
As we continue this exciting transition, our social media presence here will gradually become less active as we combine our accounts.
