A second chance for 3 little corvids 🌱✨
This tiny jay was found sitting in the middle of the road, hunched over and struggling to keep his eyes open. A kind passer-by couldn't see or hear mum nearby, so they took him in, and shortly after to the vets. From there, he was collected by a friend in Liverpool, brought over the water to Suzy, and then safely delivered to Jenny.
He's still only a baby, so he's being hand-fed alongside his two friends - a young magpie and a baby crow. Our little crow has a leg deformity, so is currently sporting a special shoe to help correct it. 🥺
The three of them will grow stronger together and will move into the aviary once they can feed themselves. They can then be released in September, when they have the best chance of being accepted by wild corvids. 🕊️
They're now safe, well-fed, and in the best possible hands. And thanks to a chain of kind people who took action just at the right moment, these three little guys have a future. 🫶🏻
