On Monday me and Saffy went on a little adventure for an urban trailing session with Gerry Moss of JayK9😁

It's been some time since I trailed with Gerry - I was working on a plan with Henry and needed continuity and Saffy hasn't been ready until this summer to be going on big adventures but now she is!

I love urban and Gerry (along with Kathryn Jones) is responsible for this!!

It's so different to rural areas, so much more contamination, more technical, different wind movement affecting the scent! A real challenge 😁

We had a fab day, met some lovely people and hid for some awesome dogs!

Saffron was awesome she was challenged, she problem solved and she had new experiences. I was very proud of her🥰

And now for some horrific pics of me (I had 2 coats on) as I'm always doing it to everyone else 🤣🤣 and some great ones of dogs!!

What a difference a day makes!
Sunday morning ☀️ for our trailing teams 😁

This venue isn't very big but it is technically challenging! All the buildings are offset and it's alongside the Humber so the wind swirls around all over the place.😊

The dogs have to work really hard even on short trails 💖

Saturday Morning in Paull
was a dismal one — so wet and slippery that we moved into the village for safer hard surfaces! This made things much tougher for the dogs, especially with a children’s party going on in the village hall 😅

Despite all that, the teams were amazing at working through the puzzles set for them 😁
✨ First time in new harnesses for 3 dogs
✨ First urban session for 1
Lots to think about with every trail setup!

Huge well done to everyone — awesome stamina in that rain 💪

Our mantrailing teams managed to stay dry and upright in a very muddy Eastrington on Sunday morning 😅

We focused on tidying up starts, working splittys, and adding in some decoys to keep things interesting.
