So, what does a petsitter carry with them in that enormous bag. I have just treated myself to a new one, as after nearly 20 years of use my trusty old bag is starting to fall apart. Not sure what the cats will make of my new bag as the old one used to attract interest from nearly all of them with all the interesting cat smells over the years. Click on each photo for explanations!!

I may be a pet sitter, caring for your cats and smaller pets, but I am also very keen to help our wildlife, and will happily put out food for your birds and even hedgehogs. This is my feeding station - trouble is, a very determined small fox has, on two nights, managed to squeeze into this. Unbelievable....

One of my regulars. She just loves to rest against me while I am visiting. Spot the sticky out tongue.

Hope everyone is well. Slowly slowly, the bookings are coming in. Still very quiet at the moment, but getting there.

Don't want to speak too soon, but hopefully we will get to enjoy some holidays this year, even if only in the UK. I am available for petsitting so please consider me when looking for someone reliable, with years of experience, to look after your cats and smaller caged animals while you are away. Just to reassure you, if holidays have to be cancelled due to covid restrictions, I wont be charging cancellation fees.

I have copied this from another post, but is very useful info and maybe worth thinking about. Please share so as many pet owners as possible can read this:

The RSPCA recommends displaying a care plan somewhere highly visible, such as on your fridge or mantelpiece, to make it easy for people to see in case of emergency. Pets often hide when paramedics arrive so it's vital they're made aware. It's also a good idea to keep these details on you (such as in a wallet ID window). Planning ahead can mean the difference between your pet being looked after or trapped alone at home without anyone knowing - being prepared saves lives.
'Although no one wants to think about the worst happening, in these strange and challenging times it's important to consider what would happen to our pets if we become ill, are hospitalised, or pass away. Think about who would look after your pets and have a chat with your family, friends and neighbours to make sure they're happy to take on this responsibility.
Take steps to set up a care plan for your pet in the event that you can no longer care for them. Displaying your pet care plan with the contact details of the next of kin will provide vital information about them and ensure that your pets get the care they need.'
