Gill is a highly experienced dog owner and has worked with rescue dogs and also offered foster care to nurture dogs until their 'forever' homes have b
een secured. Gill lives in Horwich with her husband Mark and two grown up children, Georgia and Louis. Gill has had owned several dogs of her own and currently has a Labrador called Buster who she adopted at 10 months old in April 2020. Being a young dog, Buster loves long adventure walks (mostly over Rivington) and loves having furry friends to explore the countryside with. We are comfortable with quirky little dog habits - cheeky boys and girls and the odd stealing of a slipper, however we regret that our service is not suitable for boisterous dogs or any dogs that have displayed any aggressive behaviour in the past to either people or other animals. To comply with dog boarding legislation, all new customers must attend for a "meet and greet" familiarisation session prior to a boarding booking being agreed and confirmed. The aim of this is for us to assess your dog's suitability for home boarding and also for you to see if your dogs are happy with both us and our own dogs. We get booked up very quickly in the peak holiday seasons so please contact us in good time to book early and avoid disappointment. TESTIMONIALS
Our reviews speak for themselves. We have respectfully not published the full names of our customers. Please feel free to get in touch to ask to speak to any our willing customers directly and we will arrange this for you. "Our black Lab (Paddy) loves staying with Gill. He is always so pleased to see her and there is never a backwards look when we drop him off. He loves the long walks and enjoys the attention he gets from Georgia and Louis (we've seen the photos of him on the sofa!!). Cant recommend Gill highly enough, wouldn't take Paddy anywhere else." (Jane, Lancaster)
"Hugo, our spaniel, has had the best time with Gill. Lots of lovely walks and pictures of him having fun. He has been looked after brilliantly by a true dog lover. He became one of their family during his stay. Highly recommend." (Leanne, Blackrod)
"We picked up our two dogs this afternoon from Gill. We had loads of picture updates and they seemed to have a fab time and got loads of cuddles and walks. Will definitely take them there again for their next holiday! " (Teresa S, Westhoughton)
"Amazing service provided by Gill lovely lady, and the pets adore her, lots of walkies, exercise and dietary care all on one place." (Lisa S-T, Bolton)
"Gill is superb. My dogs come home and sleep after all their long walks. I get regular videos and photos too." (Peter, Bolton)

EXCITING JOB OPPORTUNITIES 🐶🐾🐕.
We are seeking for x2 part-time Doggy Daycare Assistants to join our growing team. If you’re reliable, energetic and have a genuine love for dogs, we’d love to hear from you!
- 20 hours a week, days to be confirmed
- Must be flexible to cover holiday cover, illness and some Saturdays.
- Confident with all sizes and breeds of dogs
- Punctual, good time management & customer service is a must.
- Has a driving license
- Willing to get stuck in and learn.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and interact with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety is put first
• Ensure the play areas remain clean & safe.

• Support the cleaning and sanitising of all areas.

• Observe and report any behavioural or health concerns
You will be expected to get to know each dog individually, as every dog has its own temperament, personality, and specific needs. Please note, this role involves a significant amount of cleaning and physical activity. If you’re looking for a job that involves cuddling puppies on the sofa all day, this may not be the right fit. We are a high-energy, structured daycare environment where dogs are engaged and active throughout the day.
If you believe this position suits your skills and enthusiasm, we’d love to hear from you. Please email your CV along with a short introduction about yourself to the address below.

Quality Care of your precious pets in a loving home environment...
Who we are and what we offer
We are a family/friend run business providing a loving home for your dog/s to come to for a home-from-home holiday whether this be full 24hr home boarding or simply doggy day care for occasions such as business trips or weddings where daytime care only is required.
We also offer dog sitting in your own home if this is preferred (charged per 24 hour period).
Both licensed boarders and their families are highly experienced dog owners and have also worked with rescue dogs for a number of years.
We are fully licensed by Bolton Council, fully insured with Public Liability cover, DBS checked and we both hold pet First Aid Training certificates.
We have all the necessary equipment and First Aid items as required as part of our Licence terms.
We offer 2 walks a day for dogs in our care, free reign of our homes and a place on the settee or a lap if needed!
We are both comfortable with quirky little dog habits - cheeky boys and girls and the odd stealing of a slipper, however we regret that our service is not suitable for boisterous large dogs or any dogs that have displayed any aggressive behaviour in the past to either people or other animals.
To comply with dog boarding legislation, new customers must attend for a "meet and greet" familiarisation session prior to a boarding booking being agreed and confirmed. This takes approx. 30 minutes and the aim is for you, as the owner, to meet us in our own homes to see if your dogs are happy with us - and of course, you are confident that they will be well-cared for in a loving environment. Beware of any boarder that does not offer this service as they would be in breach of the The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018. We charge a nominal fee of £10 for a "Meet and Greet" visit.
Our market research has allowed us to set our prices at the average for the Bolton Area (See Price List).
We are already receiving a lot of enquiries for up to 12 months in advance of required boarding dates, so please contact us in good time to book early to avoid disappointment.
