🐾 Tick season has officially arrived… along with the mud apparently 🤦‍♀️

This little explorer had the best day living his swamp creature dreams after finding a pond… but it’s also a good reminder to check your dogs over for ticks this time of year and keep up to date with preventative treatments.with the warmer weather, they’re absolutely rife.

Ticks love long grass, woodland walks and adventurous pups who think every muddy puddle is a spa treatment.
Make sure to check:
✔ Ears
✔ Neck & collar area
✔ Between toes
✔ Armpits & belly

Stay safe out there… and maybe avoid the ponds if your dog believes they’re part crocodile 😂

Puppy tip 🐾

Getting your puppy used to brushing early makes such a difference later on

Start with a soft bristle brush while they’re young, keep sessions short and positive, and build it into part of their routine. It helps them see grooming as something normal (and not scary!).

Remi has been helping me demonstrate this… mostly by trying to eat the brush at first 😂🐶
But with a bit of patience (and a few treats), he’s getting the hang of it!
