It’s difficult to catch dogs at the right moment for that perfect pic. I can make all manner of exciting noises to encourage them to look the right way, but quite often the pics are not perfect. You can guarantee that they’ll be sitting beautifully and the moment I whip out my phone, they move. So here are some outtakes that didn’t make the Final Cut. Is your dog in here?

Cadbury is a work in progress. His owner would like him to look more like a breed standard Wire Haired Fox Terrier, but we need his fur to grow a bit. His owner has worked hard on keeping him brushed to keep him matt free and she’s worked on touching him all over. I love grooming this chap but we need to build on his concentration levels and keeping him still for photos.

I have to show you this from this morning. It’s very difficult concentrating when you’re a busy Fox Terrier. So we trim a bit and play a bit. Cadbury soon found my cleaning cloth and ‘killed’ it in true terrier style.
