121 Training Session - Loose lead walking

I loved meeting this beautiful, sweet girl last week for a 121 session. She is young and full of life so we just did some work to help channel that and teach her that walking nicely on her lead got her access to all of her favourite things in the environment quicker than pulling!

I can't wait to hear about their progress.

121 Puppy Programme

I have been working with the lovely little Willow as part of my 4 week 121 programme and what a lovely little bundle of fluff she is 🙂

She has been learning lots and her owners have been doing a fab job with her. They have been learning lots of new skills like sit, down, learning her name and building confidence as she enters the big wide world. Willow was lucky enough to go with her owners to have a hot chocolate where she got to watch the world go by from her owner's lap.

I can't wait to follow their progress and for our next session.

My photo of the year - The Berries Elite Squad ❤️

This photo means a lot. The fact the three are sat together is everything and that they are all friends. Todd, my collie cross has never really felt comfortable around a lot of dogs (apart from Roxy who he adores!) so for him to accept Luna is a big thing for me. Also, Luna has been attacked in the past by a collie which has since made her unsure of them so for her to play with Todd and be comfortable, this is also amazing.

It can take time and patience, and it is doesn’t always happen. If for any reason these guys just weren’t comfortable around each other, we wouldn’t make them do it. It’s always down to the dogs and how they feel but I am so pleased with this situation and the photo speaks for itself 🥰🐾

*For those who don’t know Todd, he was my first ever dog who retired with my parents in the countryside and I get to see him lots which is great💙
