I think these are a really clever and tasty way to give your dog some fun, help to settle them diwn in this hot weather.

You make the ice-domes with the silicone mould with whatever's good for your dog, pop it in the ball, screw the top on, and they're ready for lots of licking 😋

I'm thinking they might be good for a car journey too.

⚠️ADVICE ON COOLING DOGS YOU SHOULD NOT FOLLOW!!!⚠️

Its seems everyday now there is another viral piece of advice on cooling dogs (or horses) from an "expert" that is dangerously wrong! Here is the latest!

❌"Most dog owners cool their dog down the wrong way"
✅YES, SADLY INCLUDING YOU NICK AND THOR TRAVEL!

❌"Armpits, groin, then chest, underneath their neck, paws"
✅NO, WHOLE BODY.

❌"Not their whole body"
✅YES, THEIR WHOLE BODY!

❌"You do not want to soak them completely"
✅YES YOU DO, IF THEY ARE OVERHEATED!

❌"If you soak them then whats going to happen is the water creates almost like a barrier with their skin and it doesn't allow the heat to release"
✅THIS IS WRONG! WATER COLDER THAN THE DOG COOLS BY CONDUCTION. WATER IS A BETTER CONDUCTOR OF HEAT THAN AIR. WATER EVAPORATES.

Yesterday, Alfie and I spent most of the day wet 😅 goodness me it was a hot start to our week together.

Dogs feel the heat so much more intensely than we do but we can help them to feel comfortable by wetting them regularly and supplying a cool breeze, draft, fan or air-conditioning - evaporative cooling is safe & effective no matter what coat they have.

NEVER put a wet towel on a warm/hot dog because that prevents evaporation and acts like a sauna 🥵♨️

Get them wet 💦💦💦
