Fun, fluff ball, 'Maximus the Great' (10 months whilst here) Part 1 💙

Breed.... Havanese, which is a bichon-type and the national dog of Cuba, with a playful, affectionate, intelligent, and gentle nature!

A first, breed wise for CentreBarks, I can vouch for the above description, I didn't have much time to work with this little chap, 1 daycare plus 1 sleepover, and he was in!

He was super excited about the whole 9 night adventure and was into everything, including the shed 😂 it was fun all the way, and happy parents arrived to collect him and asked if he could stay again, how fab is that 👏🫶⭐️😇💯🌼💙

Sweet, smart, smiley Skyla! This affectionate little girl Corgi (18 months) came on daycare and breezed through the day! It's CentreBarks' first encounter with this really fab breed, and it's fair to say we both loved the day!

Harvey is a rescue goldie, age 4, so handsome! This was Harvey's first holiday at CentreBarks. After two daycares back in Jan/Feb, he arrived for his 12 night break and moved straight in! He took it all in his stride and became slightly confused when it was time to go home... 🥹 after all this was his home for 12 nights! This was also his parents' first experience of using a home boarder, and im very pleased to say they've re booked his 2026 holiday 🙏👏🥰⭐️💙

Returning after 2 years were Fudge (Sprocker), age 13, and Scruff (Cain Terrier), age 12! No refresh daycares needed for these two pro's, they walked straight back into CentreBarks and got comfy, we had a great time, gold stars all round ⭐️🫶🐾🥰🌊❤️

Thanks for being such good dogs, a little older, but not that slow, to be honest 😂 both still love the ball, especially Fudge, but I gave Scruff a chance bless her 🩷

Albert's been boarding on and off with me since he was 18 months old. He's now 7! He's a beautiful black Labrador who loves the secure field and his ball. He's a strong boy, so walked on a soft figure of eight lead, which suits him perfectly. He also wears a YELLOW collar, meaning he can be nervous around strangers and really likes space whilst out and about. As always, it's great to have Albert returning, he'll be back on some daycares here and there, ready for his 2026 holiday 🖤💪⭐️🫶🌊🐾🖤

The very gorgeous Rocky 🖤 Lab x Retreiver (10 months) after only a couple of daycares, this pup came into board, 10 minutes in and home life was a distant memory 😂 this is a good thing and what it's all about he totally got into his holiday, he teamed up with Betty "C" also boarding at the same time, Walter dropped in to keep an eye on the young ones 😂 a shout out to Four Pawz Pet Services for the use of the secure field, thank you so much 🙏

Half Term saw Cookie (aka The Cookstar) make a last-minute flying 1 night visit, hence only 3 photos!

So it's March already!! I've been keeping busy with regulars and newbies, daycare, and boarding!

It's always great to see Prince Che (Fox Red Labrador, age 4) he popped to see me for a 1 night sleepover recently! He's such a good boy, loves everything about his adventures at CentreBarks 💚⭐️💪🤴🧡

Newbie Buddy (Boxer age 2) is having some daycare days in preparation for his holidays. Everything was very new for Buddy (doesn't live in Hornsea) so new walks, meeting new dogs, and getting used to lots back at CentreBarks HQ 💚⭐️⚾️🧡

Newbies for January 2025, we welcome these 3 gorgeous boys who are joining the CentreBarks family 💙💙💙

First up is Rocky, age 10 months, lab x retriever, he's on daycare practice ready for his holiday very soon. He has a gorgeous glossy coat, a very long tail, and is super relaxed around the house. Well done, Rocky 💪⭐️

Next is Dobby, age 6, mixed breed, he's all the way from Pennsylvania (USA) he sailed over with his pawrents on the Cunard, what a lucky boy! He's not been in Hornsea very long, although you would never guess! He's also becoming a regular Four Pawz Pet Services making new freinds in the secure field 🚢⭐️

Harvey is next. age 4, golden retriever, a rescue boy who's now got his forever home. He is also on daycare practice ready for his March holiday. He's a quiet, gentle boy, but he did do afew zoomies when regular (GBBD) Walter did some barking 😂⭐️

Looking forwards to spending time with these lovely boys 💙💙💙

After 3 days short of 6 weeks boarding, his longest stay yet!! It was time for Mr Sam, Shar Pei cross British Bull dog (age 10! he had his birthday whilst at CB) to head for home! He's a kind gentle GOOD boy to all the new and old house guests, one of the bestest boys 💙🥳🔟🫶🌊🔥💙

Gorgeous golden Rosie, age 11 years young, was an absolute angel on her first stay at CentreBarks, she made herself at home, enjoying a freezing cold dip in the sea, she did a spot of visiting making a great therapy dog, she made new dog friendships with Betty Boo, Honey Bee, and also sharing that particular weekend was my gorgeous regular boarder also called Rosie (thanks for showing new Rosie how we roll hahaha at CB) 🫶🥰🌊🐝❄️😇⚘️⭐️🧡

Always great company are these two, Honey aka the bee bee (pug age 10) and Cookie aka the Cookstar (frenchie age 3) Honey had a last minute week and Cookie a weekend sleepover, if you are looking for fun and a smile everyday then these breeds are for you! 😍🫶🐝⭐️🍪🩷

It's always great to see Bertie (field cocker age 9) he stayed in November (I'm still catching up on posts!) His favourite things as he's got a little older and more distinguished, seem to be a good howl and sleeping in every and any bed that CB has! 😂⭐️💤🌊🫶💙

Beautiful Betty Boo age 5 years GBB (also recently moved to our fabby town of Hornsea) she enjoyed her weekend stay a few weeks ago now, the weather was kind but very cold!! The gorgeous golden Rosie (age 11) who hasnt lived in Hornsea very long came on a little daycare practice for her weekend stay soon. She was a very good girl and will visit for another day before boarding over 🧡

Also new to CentreBarks is Louis (age 10 sh*tzu/poodle) and Amos (age 6 Lhasa apso) having never stayed away from home before, we need to practice in a gentle way, I must say Amos just launched himself into it all 😂 Louis not so much but with some gentle daycares I feel we will get there 🤞🤍🤍

So I'm looking forward to seeing these 3 again very soon. They are a fab addition 👀🌹⭐️🫶💚

With a comforting home environment, your dogs can relax whilst following their normal day to day routine. Located around the corner to the beach and lots of lovely walks, we can guarantee that your dog will have a fun-packed stay and will be barking to come back!

By choosing home boarding with CentreBarks, you can have the peace of mind knowing your beloved dogs will be safe and cared for the entire time. We will even send you regular updates and photos so you can see the fun time your dog is having with us.

We also provide daycare services if you are local to the area and need extra help looking after your dog during the day. All of our services are fully insured and council licensed.
