A quieter than normal but still Terrific Tuesday with Waldo 🐾 Cannon 🐾 Tilly 🐾 & a few cat visits 😻
Waldo did great when we encountered some excitable dogs in their gardens. Our gorgeous boy did me proud as usual. 💙
Despite Cannon being an older boy I struggle to keep up with him! I certainly get my steps in when it's just the 2 of us. 💙
Tilly did great too when we met a couple of groups of dogs. She was a bit worried but quickly realised there was nothing to worry about especially as the humans with them were responsible & thoughtful. 🩷

Lots of photos of 3 beauties that I looked after recently. 2 of them are shy/cautious but not Willow. If Stevie (ginger) wasn't under the table she loved some fuss but Flo (mainly white) I could tell wanted some fuss & attention but was still generally too reserved so I respect her space & leave her alone. She did have 2/3 head bump/rubs. 😻😻😻 PT 1

A more normal Fun Friday with Waldo 🐾 Barkley 🐾 Cannon 🐾 Roxy 🐾 Ruby 🐾 & a couple of cat visits 😻
I think Waldo's still struggling with the heat but luckily he wasn't home alone so we just did his morning walk.
Barkley & Cannon get on great together & enjoy investigating lots of the same smells.
Roxy & Ruby bumped into a couple of friends, Kipper & Rolo who also know that I'm a soft touch when it comes to treats 😁

Thursday's Thrillers were Waldo 🐾 Bailey 🐾 Sophie 🐾 Tilly 🐾 & a couple of cat visits 😻 Other walks were cancelled as the temperature rose.
Waldo was a bit lethargic by his standards which actually made a nice relaxing walk for me 😆 It could be due to his long weekend away, traveling back in the heat & the higher temperature this morning but as he wasn't alone today it wasn't worth taking him out again.
I moved Sophie to the earlier walk when it was cooler as she's definitely a senior citizen in the doggy world. Tilly was happy to see her again as they don't usually go on the same walks together.

A more normal Wonderful Wednesday with Josie 🐾 Bailey 🐾 Mollie 🐾 Smudge 🐾 Sophie 🐾 Roxy 🐾 Ruby 🐾 & a couple of cat visits 😻
The temperature was still warm but much safer & there was a little breeze.
It was a bit too noisy for Josie so not much walking but she did poo & p*e. Funny the things that make me happy. 😆 In reality it means she's feeling safer with me.
Mollie's been struggling in the heat apparently so I took her with Bailey to the woods which is shaded & there's a lovely stream for them to paddle in & drink from.
Smudge & Sophie had a lovely relaxing walk spending a lot of time near the stream.
Where I usually take Roxy & Ruby is suitable in warmer weather so we went to some woods as well which suited Ruby just fine as she loves a good dunk in the water. 😆 Roxy just had a little paddle but it's cool enough in the shade of the trees.

Due to the excessive heat I cancelled as many walks as possible today but Barkley was home alone. His house is quite warm & he's not keen on using the garden for his toilet. So I carried him to the car which has Aircon & a roof fan that pulls the cooler air to the back. We gently walked straight down to the stream, along it & back again.
I don't like cancelling walks, particularly as it means I lose income & my bills still need paying but the safety & wellbeing of all the animals in my care is much more important. 💙
