After much deliberation and yet another no show I have decided I will no longer be offering grooming for cats (new clients) After my last post regarding clients not turning up I am yet again at salon with nothing to do. It does not leave me enough time to be able to fill the space and wait for another client to turn up and then complete a groom before my next client should arrive.

I will however continue to groom my regular cats that I currently have on file and do not let me down. I will not be taking any new customers for cat grooming. I am too busy in the salon generally and I do have clients waiting a long time for appointment slots.

I'm sorry to anyone who would have liked an appointment but I feel I have to do what is best for my regular clients and for my business.

*cat grooming*

Unfortunately due to a high number of no shows for cat grooming appointments, all bookings for a cat groom will require full payment upfront. If you do not show up for your appointment you will lose your payment. If cancelled in less than 24 hours you will lose your payment. Appointments can be rearranged if needed but I will need more than 24 hours notice for this.

I have a long wait for these appointment slots and it is unfair on those who have to wait a long time. I cannot fill these slots at such short notice. I am a small business and if I clients are not turning up I don't get paid. I cannot run my small business on clients not showing up.

Good afternoon ladies and gents

From 1st April there will be a price increase on many of my grooms. As you know I do try to keep my prices low and standards high, however with constant rising costs of products and bills I do need to increase my prices. These increases will be based on the breed and also will be dependant on the type of groom your pet has.

I am also looking into bringing in a second groomer as I am extremely busy at the moment and I am currently looking at a 3 to 4 week wait time for appointments.
