It’s shocking how many people I see walking there dogs when it’s hot, dogs can not regulate their temperature like humans do so please keep your dogs safe 🐶🐾

Important information regarding travelling with your pet to Northern Ireland from 4th June 2025

🛳️🐕🐈‍⬛

If you live in England, Scotland or Wales and you are travelling to Northern Ireland with your pet you will now need a Northern Ireland Pet Travel Document to take your dog, cat or ferret on routes from Cairnryan or Liverpool to N.I
Your pet must be microchipped, rabies vaccinations and have tapeworm treatment if you have a PTD- these rules also apply to assistance dogs.

You can apply for the Northern Ireland Pet Document online using the link below from 23rd April

Take your pet dog, cat or ferret abroad: getting a pet passport or export health certificate, microchip, vaccinations and tapeworm treatments.

Evening all,

I have appointments still available for this month and I am now taking bookings for May.

I will also be offering appointments for every other Saturday starting this weekend.

I am no longer taking on X large breeds such as Golden Retrievers,German Shepherd’s, Husky’s etc. I will however still take on Labrador’s.

If you would like an appointment for your fur baby please get in touch via WhatsApp messenger as appointments go very fast.

‼️ Red Weather Warning ‼️

Storm Eowyn has now been upgraded to a red warning, so please take time to consider what you can do today to protect your animals.

Some tips for tomorrow;

🐶 Ensure garden gates/fences etc have not blown open before letting dogs out to the garden.

🐱 Keep cats indoors where possible.

🐶🐱 Have a radio playing to keep wind noise down, close the curtains too.

🐰 Are small furries secure? If not, or you aren’t sure, bring them inside.

🐶 Avoid dog walking during the storm, play some inside games instead.

🐶🐱 Are your microchip details up to date if your pet was to run away?

🚗 Take extra care when driving. A frightened cat or dog will not have any road sense. Expect the unexpected!
