To our clients and visitors.

Many of you may have seen the deeply upsetting footage currently circulating online concerning a pet cremation service in Herefordshire.

While the matter remains under investigation, we want to reassure our clients that what has been shown is not normal or acceptable practice within responsible pet aftercare, and it is not something we condone.

Every pet entrusted to Pet Funeral Services is treated with dignity, care and respect throughout their time with us. We fully understand the trust families place in us at an incredibly difficult time, and we take that responsibility extremely seriously.

Pet Funeral Services is a member of the Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria (APPCC), which sets and maintains professional standards and a code of conduct for the respectful care, burial and cremation of pets.

We would encourage pet owners to ask their veterinary practice which cremation service they use and what arrangements are available before making a decision at the time of euthanasia.

Transparency is important to us, and anyone with questions or concerns about how we care for the pets entrusted to us is welcome to contact us.

We are really happy that we have found software on the engraving computer to allow us to engrave some dog breeds on the plaques for caskets.

There are only a handful of breeds that we can do but it’s a start!

We can do, Spaniel, Cat, Beagle, Boxer, Frenchie, German Shepherd, Greyhound, Lab, Lab Retriever, Pug, Poodle, Rottweiler, Yorkshire Terrier & some bird breeds.

We do not charge for our standard caskets or engraving they are included in cremation.

Meg was a beautiful cocker spaniel that sadly passed away earlier this week. Our thoughts are with Meg’s family & hope they are happy with her memorial. 💕

The side with pink is Jess’ ashes mixed into pink resin & EverWith Memorial Jewellery kindly put Jess’s picture in the other side & engraved her name on the back. 💕 The pink resin matches her pink collar beautifully 🥰💕💕
