Teddy can be nervous when clippers are used around his back end from some past experiences in other salons

Today all I experienced was a lovely, happy boy who just needed that bit of extra trust building, I let him have a nosey around before starting anything, a couple of breaks playing, let him understand the space he is in and giving him lots of reassurance and cuddles throughout 🩷 I pride myself on giving every dog a calm, encouraging experience and it's beyond rewarding to see the results, especially when you hear the words "My dog has never been so happy leaving a groomers before" 🥰

My years of experience always comes back to the invaluble knowledge that every dog in an individual, they can have good and bad days, they WILL reciprocate your energy, sometimes many sessions are needed for this to happen, other times it can happen quickly (this video was after pre- clipping his body and legs off before his bath)

Teddy's Full Groom was completed in my normal time frame for a Full Groom of his breed/size/ Haircut type, I just took things at his pace entirely and I look forward to seeing him again 🥹🐾🐕✂️🫧🚿✨️🩷
