Little Archie’s story is below this post .. a great result but with historic orthopaedic issues ,arthritis will be sadly its partner , so although doing well Archie is back for a short intensive course two years later
( without issue we are delighted to say ! ) for strengthening and toning exercise ,
he is beginning to feel /show weakness in his knee action so Hydrotherapy will help stabilise and strengthen ligaments/tendons and joints for conditioning and his comfort!
Before any further deterioration.
Well done Archie and to your loving & forward thinking owners !

Young Koba 8 months old GSD
Koba had sadly a catastrophic accident resulting in major surgery
He Bravely came through his surgery and his surgeon has advocated an intense course of Hydrotherapy
You can see here Koba on just his 4 th session slowly beginning to obtain better movement whilst aided.. to his post operative surgery limb
He is supported well and the video shows how currently he is showing fore hand strength to pull himself through the water ,what we want to encourage gently is ..
his “ engine “ his hind legs to drive through the water , which as he become stronger they most certainly will, once strength and muscle built up
You may also notice that as he swims, he has slight lateral movement in his back” swaying “
This also is because he’s weak in his abdominal/core strength
Which even if dogs are fit and healthy when they start to intensively swim will often exhibit this kind of movement, although as he becomes stronger, this will disappear!
This young Dog has shown immense bravery ! And has jumped into our hearts !

And also, he’s loving owners , who love Koba dearly and have been on such a rollercoaster of emotions!
But now Koba with the surgical expertise he received ,
The love and care of his adoring family,
His own bravery and strength
And now his rehabilitation treatment
Will be on the road to recovery ,
I expect a rehabilitation time up to 4 months in the pool , And we will post the results for you to see !

“Six months ago we were facing a diagnosis of potential cruciate ligament damage in one of his hind legs. Pebbles a qutey 14 years old Jack Russell terrier has just started Hydrotherapy
Pebbles can be anxious when she meets new people, but we’ve both made friends quickly! And she has settled and started some good work in the Pool
Hydrotherapy will benefit Pebbles on a multifaceted approach as she is coping with multiple health issues at the moment..
