Hi everyone, I'm very excited to officially introduce Under the Threshold Pet Sitting đž
If you don't know me already my name is Caz, I'm one half of the dog training team 'Anything is Pawsable', I have the same values and the same understanding of dogs - except now I can offer support inside your dogâs home too. I have been looking after reactive dogs, anxious dogs and dogs with very specific needs for clients on and off for the last few years now, but I've never openly advertised this service, until now. So what's changed?
Well, reactive and anxious dogs are more widely recognised nowadays but are still very misunderstood. As someone who has owned and worked with reactive dogs for several years I completely understand how difficult it can be as a reactive dog owner to find the right care for your dog that you genuinely trust when needed.
It's not just meeting your dog's basic needs (feeding, exercise, companionship), it's finding the right person who can confidently continue (and expand on if required) any training routines in place, recognise stressors, understand your dog's body language and 'read the room' in any given situation, be happy to follow with military precision any seemingly odd routines (walking equipment, walking routes, walking times, medication, etc) to ensure your dog's routine is kept as normal as possible while you're away. This is where I come in.
Reactive dogs donât need someone to just "pop in.â They need knowledge, planning, emotional regulation, patience and understanding and someone who knows exactly what not to do. You need me đ
If price is the main priority, this wonât be the right service for you.
If your dogâs wellbeing, safety, and emotional stability matter more than saving a few quid then youâre exactly who this was built for.
Cheap care is cheap because it skips the thinking part
Specialist care costs more because it canât afford to get it wrong.
What youâre not paying for :
⢠quick visits
⢠crossed fingers
⢠guesswork
⢠âthey seemed fine when I leftâ
What you are paying for :
⢠a reactive-dog specialist with real experience
⢠calm, structured routines that protect progress
⢠understanding of triggers, thresholds, and stress signals
⢠risk management, not risk-taking
⢠your dog staying under threshold in their own home
Because reactive dogs donât need cheaper care. They need better care. (And you need a break to decompress too, right? đ)
Please feel free to contact me if you would like further information, my contact details are stated below đ
