Friday adventure pups 🐾♥️

And star of the week goes to Odin today for walking so well off lead with our very own Winnie.

Milo and Odin usually have to be walked solo, as Odin can be quite reactive towards other dogs, but he is becoming so much better recently and we will be carefully working towards introducing Milo and Odin into a group setting

Recall refresh with Winnie! 🐶

We’ve been brushing up on recall — and there’s a good reason! Like all spaniels, she lives to follow her nose 👃… it’s just in their genes!

But when it’s rainy, those damp, rich scents are everywhere, making it extra tempting to wander. That’s why we keep practicing — so she remembers listening and coming back is always the best move, no matter how exciting the sniff! 🐕💙

I am now on holiday for the next week. All messages will be picked up upon my return. Enjoy the sunshine in England this week, but remember to keep yourself and your pooches safe in this hot weather ☀️☀️

What a mix of weather we had last week. We've had showers, hail, and the odd glimpse of the sunshine. But no matter the weather, we are always out enjoying ourselves 🐾❤️

Please be vigilant while walking in this area. I have taken the decision to avoid walking in this area until further notice.

⚠️ DOG OWNERS IN / AROUND MELTHAM ⚠️

There have now been repeated reports of piles of sausages found around the Deer Hill area, suspected to be laced/stuffed with slug pellets or another toxic substance.

Several dogs have reportedly been hospitalised after walks in the area.

Please keep dogs on leads, stay vigilant, and watch closely for anything they may try to eat while out walking.

If you spot anything suspicious:
• Do not touch with bare hands
• Keep other walkers and dogs away
• Report it to the police and local council

• If your dog may have eaten something, contact a vet immediately
