Studying? Retired? Spare time on your hands?

We're hiring!!! We are now looking for an experienced pet professional/dog walker to join our team.

• Role: Freelance, casual
• Location: Holmes Chapel (and surrounding areas)
• Start date: Flexible

**Please note, this is not a Full-Time position**

An ideal role for someone who isn't looking for a set schedule of work. We are seeking a casual walker to cover our regular walkers/clients during busy periods, staff holidays and instances of illness.

You must own and be willing to use your own vehicle (5 door or larger) for the transport of dogs.

Previous experience in animal care preferred.

We’re taking a little break.. ☀️

But don’t worry, as Charlotte, Holly, Erin, Julie & Amy B will be here as normal, providing cover for Kyle while we’re away.

📱- Our social media pages will fall silent during this time, but we’ll be back providing your fix of dog walking fun from Monday the 4th of August.

🗣️ - Please send any urgent requests direct to your walker, otherwise everything else, including new enquiries, will be responded to upon our return.

✨we have news!!!! ✨

A few weeks ago, we asked Amy to join the Fox & The Hounds team, and we’re pleased to say that not only did she accept, she couldn’t be happier.

Amy joins the team having recently completed an industry relevant degree, while also working closely with animals of all shapes and sizes. We truly believe that we’re very lucky to have found her.

We’ll be working closely with Amy to establish a brand new Alsager & Kidsgrove based Dog Walking and Pet Care Diary. So if you would like to discuss regular/ad hoc dog walks, home visits or any other service, please contact us on 07502 301380 or email [email protected] and we’ll get you covered.

What an honour it was to chaperone Baker to Jennie & Steve’s beautiful wedding at on Saturday. .captures did such a fantastic job with the photography on the day, and she’s already even supplied us with a few sample shots 😍😍

Two weeks ago we felt privileged to host the Holmes Chapel Village Fair’s 2025 Summer Dog Show.

This was our second show, and we couldn’t have enjoyed it any more. Regardless of the weather, the contestants, their owners and their entourages all showed up in great spirits.

We held events such as the best biscuit catcher, the fastest sit and also the best dressed.. as you can see from the photos below 👸🎾

It continues to be an honour for not only Fox & The Hounds team, but also our family in general to feel part of such a welcoming and friendly community.

Well done to all involved ❤️🐶

We have an exciting opportunity available for anyone seeking a role in the animal/pet care industry.

To help us cater for growing requests in and around the ST7 area, we’re decided to create a brand new Dog Walking diary.

As stated, the diary will be brand new, so the ideal candidate will be someone who’s able to transition into the new role over time.

Details;

• Role: Freelance, Self Employed
• Location: Alsager (and surrounding areas)
• Start date: Flexible

The ideal candidate must live local to the area, own and be willing to use their own vehicle (5 door or larger), have a history working with animals and be able to demonstrate the following qualities;

- Confidence handling dogs of all sizes
- Confidence handling more than one dog at a time
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Excellent self-management skills
- Ability to function under pressure
- Ability to demonstrate patience
- Be physically able to achieve 10,000+ steps on a daily basis (with a full diary) in all weathers on all surfaces
- Be able to commit to an expected work day pattern of 09:30 to 15:30 (Part-Time applications may be considered)
- Ability to access apps used on either iPhone or Android
Qualities preferred but not essential.
