💔💔CUSTOMER ANNOUNCEMENT💔💔

We are heart broken to announce that we will be closing THE ANIMAL GRUB HUB 😢

This is not a decision we have made easily and we have gone back & forth with the pro’s and con’s for many weeks. However, with costs increasing so rapidly and no signs of things slowing down we feel that we have no other option. As most people know it’s an extremely physical job and with profit margins now being nearly non existent, it’s soul destroying to work all week for little or no pay at the end of it 😩

We battled through the pandemic, lost loved ones so close to us, brought a new member into our family and all while still keeping the shop open daily, but we now have to do what is best for us as a family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

We would like to thank each and every one of our customers for your custom and loyalty because without you the last three years wouldn’t have been possible! We have met some wonderful people and lots of you are no longer customers but life long friends 🥰 and this is something we will be forever great full for!

Our last day at the shop will be SATURDAY 30th APRIL.

If you know people who are not on Facebook then please could you pass this information on to them.

Good morning all, sorry to have to put such a miserable post on this morning 😢 but I just want to keep everyone as up to date as possible 👍🏼

Just as every individual is being hit with price increases, we as a business are facing so many changes on a weekly basis 😩

With fuel costs spiraling & so much grain being imported from Russia we are unable to keep our prices as they were 😢 We have received an email this morning & as an example one of our biggest selling foods is increasing buy £1.18 per bag, as you can appreciate, as a small family run business there is no way that we are able to absorb such increases.

PLEASE ASK IF THERE ARE ANY PRICES THAT YOU WISH TO KNOW BEFORE PLACING ORDERS TO AVIOD ANY CONFUSION 😊

It has been such a worrying & uncertain 2 years, but just as we worked through the pandemic, we will continue to work through these crazy times & provide the best possible service we can 👍🏼

Hi all 😊 I just wanted to ask if you have sent a message and I have not replied to you then please send it again 👍🏼

We have so many messages daily on this page, both our personal pages and to our mobiles that there are occasions where messages aren’t replied to immediately or don’t even come through to us 🙈

If this is you then please don’t be afraid to get in touch again & remind me if you are waiting for products, need prices or are just booking in for delivery, my memory isn’t what it used to be but with us being so busy I’m still using ‘baby brain’ as an excuse 🤣

Why should you crate train?

A lot of people shy away from crate training, thinking it isn't fair, or they look at it as some sort of jail. That isn't the case at all. The crate will make training easier. Giving your puppy a safe space that they can still utilise when fully grown if you wish.

You wouldn't allow your toddler access to the whole house. You make sure it's safe and secure. You put locks on the cupboards and baby gates on the doors. Why do we think puppies should be any different? Why should they know what they are and aren't allowed to do? Crate training your puppy is really setting them up for success.

Crate training helps speed up toilet training, preventing accidents and giving you more opportunities to get your puppy to toilet outside.

It helps teach your puppy to relax on their own and learn that they can't always have access to you. Not something puppies are naturally programmed to do.

It prevents your puppy from chewing objects you don't want them to when you aren't watching them.

Helps reduce biting by increasing the chance your puppy will get good quality, restful sleep.

Crates are also a really useful tool for introducing puppies to existing dogs. Making existing dogs feel safe in their own environment.

All in all a win win!

Most of you that know Jamie by now will know that he certainly isn’t bothered by the weather lol and he will get your deliveries to you, however, we have been advised that as it is a red warning if we chose to drive and something happens then our insurance will be void 🙈

I’m sure that you can all appreciate that this isn’t a risk worth taking so we will see you on Saturday instead 👍🏼 thank you as always for your support & please stay safe 😊
