How often do you check your dog's teeth? Just like our own, they are a very important factor in your dogs health.

It's amazing what you can achieve in a 20 minute session! 😎😁

This was the dogs first session and so well behaved which made the cleaning so much quicker and easier 😊

Happy New Year to all my clients and your pooches!
I'm sorry for being so quiet on my page, but its been difficult during these worrying times. I hope you and your dogs are all safe and well!

I am open for business for both grooming and teeth cleaning. I am of course following all precautions to keep myself and clients safe. In order to do this, I have to ask that only your dog is allowed in the room. You are welcome to wait outside, in your car, or drop off and pick up.

I had a 15 year old Border Terrier come in this week for his second session. As you can see his mouth was quite unhealthy and the owner did not want to put their dog of such age under anesthetic to have his teeth cleaned.
On his first session, his gums bled just from touching them along with smelly breath. His second session was already a lot more positive, his breath wasn't so smelly and his gums didnt bleed, and I managed to get a lot of tartar off his teeth. He is coming back for a third session to continue treatment.

Groomed nails are not a cosmetic luxury for pets, it's absolutely a necessity to maintain your pet's nails at a healthy length.

Once nails reach a certain length, they can be a very real problem. From minor discomfort while standing and moving, to worsening arthritis in older pets and making basic mobility difficult. It can even cause irreversible damage to the feet and legs if left too long over time. If your dog's nails hit the floor when standing, they are putting pressure on your pet's paws and legs.

Common problems caused by overgrown nails include:
• Splayed foot - Flat feet offer little support to the rest of the body
• Traction issues - Slipping, stairs become more difficult
• Arthritic changes in the toes and legs - Often permanent and painful

In these images, you can see in the 'before' the toes are at a different angle than the relaxed toes in the 'after'. They are forced into unnatural (and uncomfortable!) positions by the overgrown nails, which reduces mobility of the whole foot and sometimes legs.

You can prevent or correct some issues by keeping your pet on a regular nail maintenance program. As a bonus, most dogs who dislike having their nails done at first will learn to tolerate the process when it is done regularly!

This is Winnie, a young Poodle cross. She came to me 6 months ago to have her teeth cleaned. Today was her 6 month check up and clean. After 20 minutes of ultrasound magic, she is back to having a clean and healthy mouth again. Get in contact to make an appointment. 🐶🦷

This is Bruce a Working Cocker who came in yesterday for his first appointment. As you can see, his teeth were in desperate need of clean. After just 30 minutes of ultrasound magic, it had softened the tartar making it easy to remove. Bruce was a very good boy, and was more than happy to have his teeth cleaned. He will be back for another session to address his back teeth and gums to get them back to a healthy condition. Get in contact if your dogs teeth need cleaning.

Todays Doggy Dental Care. Only the first session and already a lot of improvement. The 100% ultrasound doesn't harm or distress the dog in anyway, no pain, no noise and no hassle. Just a short session at affordable rates with life changing results.
If I do have any concerns, I will always advise you to visit your vet and will work alongside them in your dogs future care.

I'm proud to say that it was a winning day at Richmond Championship Show 2019.

Champion Soletrader Louis Vuitton won the Hound Veteran Group 1. So very proud, and even at nearly 10 years old he is still bouncing around with perfect teeth.
