The sun has made an appearance 🌞
So it’s time to put plans into place to keep all of Woof Pack safe 🧡
As always there is a high presence of information/debate on social media regarding walking dogs in hot weather, especially when the pavement becomes hot. As dog walkers we can come under scrutiny as we generally walk in the hottest parts of the day.
If the Pavement is too hot for my bare hand/foot then plans will be put into place for the health and wellbeing of our Pack🧡
Those with Brachycephalic ,Double coated, Elderly or any of those that I think will be at risk will be placed on to a house visit or an Earlier/Later/Shorter walks once cooled down.
Once we hit 21 degrees all walks will be cancelled- NO exceptions!!
All walks will be to adjusted to suit the dogs needs first and foremost.
I will continue carrying fresh water and water bowls filled when returned.
I don't know how hot it will get, but the above will apply during the hotter summer months.
