Kate's Equestrian Supplies was opened in October 2011 by me, Kate Lawrance. I have over 25 years of equestrian experience ranging from keeping & competing my own ponies & horses to working as Head Groom for International Eventer Oliver Townend and
most recently as Head Groom for International Show Jumper Di Lampard. The highlights being, gaining 3rd place in the 2007 Kuster BEF Groom Of The Year and being part of Team GB at the 2008 Nations Cup Super-league Final in Barcelona. At Kate's Equestrian Supplies I pride myself on supplying good quality, affordable horse wear and riding equipment throughout the UK. I always aim to dispatch items either on the day of purchase or the following day. I like to look after my customers and I'm always on hand if there is a problem or if advice on any products is needed. I stock a wide and expanding range of equestrian and pet supplies, including clothing, horse rugs, riding equipment, grooming and care products, dog coats, pet toys and bedding. In March 2021 Kate’s Equestrian Supplies became a member of the British Equestrian Trade Association. It is something that i am very proud of as the business had to meet exacting standards and three Referees from within the trade were required to vouch that my business is credible with suitable premises. My application was then put forward to the BETA Council for approval. Being a member of BETA will provide me with extensive support within the industry and it will enable me to further my knowledge with the many training courses and qualifications that are available. This will, in turn, benefit my customers as it will allow me to offer a greater range of products and services. As a start, I will take courses which will qualify me to supply and fit riding hats and body protectors. As a BETA member I am permitted to display the BETA Retail Member logo on my website, in my premises and on any advertising or stationery. The logo is designed to give customers confidence that they are shopping with a BETA approved retailer. The BETA logo is widely recognised by consumers and the trade as the symbol of a legitimate and trustworthy business. The BETA symbol is associated with products of high standards and with companies who comply with the strict BETA codes of practice.
