Brunch post:- update for all of our customers and followers! Our new addition to the family arrived on the 16th of February. He was a big baby weighing a whopping 9lb 3oz. Mrs Peck is all well very sore and tired. She did an incredible job only having 1hrs sleep in 40hrs 😍 a true super hero!
Baby Sebastian is all well and healthy and we have only been home less than 24hrs.

Daisy and Blue have been absolutely fantastic it's amazing to watch our first baby twinnies protect and come to the rescue for our baby boy! Daisy is very motherly towards him and it's worked out perfectly 💙 💜 💙 💜 💙

We are missing all of you guys and the doggies! Much love to everyone Mr and Mrs Peck! 💙

We would like to send a quick reminder that our last working day will be Friday 19th December, as we will be starting maternity leave.

We plan to return in September 2026.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone for their continued support. We have truly loved looking after all the dogs over the years and have had so much fun caring for them — from daily walks and cuddles to all the little moments that made us smile and laugh. We hold very special memories of every one of them, including those who are sadly no longer with us. They will always have a place in our hearts.

Thank you again for being part of our journey, and we look forward to seeing you all when we return.

🐾✨ What a whirlwind few weeks it’s been at Mr&Mrs Pecks! ✨🐾

Between dog walking, doggy daycare, and boarding, we’ve been surrounded by wagging tails, muddy paws, and endless puppy cuddles. 🐶💖

From morning zoomies to evening snuggles, every day has been filled with laughter (and a few slobbery kisses 😅). We’re so grateful to spend our days with the best four-legged friends in town—and we wouldn’t trade the fur, the fun, or the chaos for anything! 🐕🎉

And guess what? We even found time to take Daisy and Blue on a little beach adventure! 🏖️🌊🐾 Safe to say, they loved every sandy, splashy second.

Here’s to more belly rubs, treat time, and happy pups! 🦴🐾

Dear Friends and Clients,
We apologise for the lack of recent updates — things have been incredibly busy here! We also have some important news to share, which is both happy and a little bittersweet.

The happy news is that we will be renewing our licence in November and continuing our services for the foreseeable future.

The bittersweet news is that Mr Peck will be returning to full-time employment as we prepare to welcome a new addition to our family — our baby is due in February next year! This means the business will be placed on pause during Mrs Peck’s maternity leave. We plan to resume as normal towards the end of next year; however, as Mrs Peck will be running things solo, the business will need to be scaled back slightly.

We will keep you all informed about future plans and any changes. In the meantime, it has been such a joy to have a happy home filled with wonderful dogs and delighted clients over the past few weeks. For those affected by our news, we have provided plenty of notice to allow time to make alternative arrangements before any cancellations.
We remain, as always, fully committed to giving our best for you and your dogs. 💙💜

It’s been another joyful and tail-wagging half a week here with our lovely bunch of pooches! We’ve had so much fun with our furry guests – from garden zoomies and chilled cuddle sessions to plenty of belly rubs and playtime antics. The energy (and love!) has been non-stop 💙

On a little personal note, we managed to sneak away for a 4-day break ourselves last week – a much-needed pause to recharge! Although we may have tried to relive our younger party days… and let’s just say we’ve definitely realised our limits 😅 So if you catch us yawning, we’re just recovering – might need another holiday to recover from that one!

Wow – what a scorching summer it’s been! ☀️
We’re big fans of a comfortable 21–22°C, but anything hotter and we’d much rather be relaxing by the beach! 🏖️🥵

It’s been a busy time here with many of our regular furry friends returning for their stay 💙 We’ve had four fans running non-stop, plus a cold water evaporative fan working 24/7 over the past week and a half to keep the heat at bay. It’s been a challenge, and if we’ve felt it—our pooches definitely have too!

All walks where either canceled or changed to drop ins!

To keep everyone safe and comfortable, we’ve avoided walking the dogs in the intense heat. Instead, we’ve focused on plenty of water play, cool-down time, and restful breaks indoors. Hydration and comfort have been our top priorities 💙

The English heatwave has certainly made an entrance this week, and our furry guests have been feeling it too! 😅🌡️

At Mr&Mrs Pecks we’ve been going the extra mile to keep all our pups safe, cool, and happy during this sizzling spell: 🐶 Shady playtimes in the garden
💦 Paddling pools and splash zones
🧊 Frozen treats (dog-safe, of course!)
💤 Siesta time in our cool, ventilated indoor spaces 4 fans and a Water mist Power unit cooling our pooches down 🌟

Your dogs’ comfort and wellbeing are always our top priority – especially in this heat 🐶💙

What a Week! ☀️🐾

It’s been a full house here with all our lovely boarders!

With the sun blazing all week, we’ve been keeping things cool with shaded playtimes, splashy paddling pools, and plenty of indoor chill-out time. 😎💦
A huge thank you to all our amazing doggies (and their pawrents) for making it such a fun, love-filled week. 💛

💬 A quick reminder to all dog owners:
I saw people walking their dogs yesterday in 29°C heat around 4pm while I was out at the shops... please, don’t walk your dogs in this kind of weather! It’s seriously dangerous. 🔥😭
How many times do we need to say it?

Our own boarding pups have missed their walks this week, and guess what? They’ve been absolutely fine. Their safety comes first. We’ve made sure they stay cool with multiple fans, plenty of shaded rest, and regular splashes of cool water (for those who enjoy it, of course! 💦😂)

🐾 Special mentions to:
– Mabel, Bailey, our Spaniel, and Charlie for their boarding. Bodhi left us over the weekend finishing her brilliant stay over with us.
– Rupert for daycare – always a star! 💙👌
– Riley, Finn, and Jack – all walk bookings switched to drop-ins this week to keep them safe in the heat

Friday the 13th – What a Day! 🐾

Well, Friday the 13th certainly lived up to its name today! It's been quite the rollercoaster, with three trips to Tamworth as our lovely Daisy had to visit the vet after injuring her dew claw 😅. A huge thank you to all of our amazing dog walking clients for being so flexible with rearranged times — we really appreciate your understanding.

Unfortunately, Daisy needed to be sedated to help her heal properly, But of course, we’ll always put our fur babies first — even if we do feel the vet bills tug a little hard on the wallet!

Despite today's chaos, it’s been a busy and fulfilling week overall!

We've had the pleasure of Bodhi staying with us it's been awhile my lady but she was so excited to stay with us, as well as our regulars Riley and Finn. Jack and Kissy have enjoyed plenty of walks, and we’ve been pet sitting lovely Riva — with permission from her wonderful owners, of course she's enjoyed coming round ours for the day whilst our madness of Friday the 13th occurred 😍 Mabel and Bailey have been living their best lives and are all set for their boarding next week.
Rupert loving more daycares this week and learning all the cues perfectly now such a good boy 💙
Wilf, Winnie, and Maddie have had their walkies too 💕, and young Gibbs has done fantastically well during his very first sleepover! 💖 We have our lovely handsome spaniel in with us now and Charlie for the week! 💙

A Quick Note on the Weather ☀️

We always put your pets’ safety first, especially in warmer weather. Our walking limit is 25°C — if it gets any hotter, we postpone or cancel walks depending on the breed, age, and health of the dog this benchmark figure will be reduced and set at a lower temperature. There are many variables than just the temperature. Cloud coverage, any shaded areas on walks, wind speeds and what the temperature feels like.
This week, that meant some walks were shortened or skipped, especially for our daycare and boarding dogs. We appreciate your trust in us to make the right call for your pets’ wellbeing 💙 if any client has their own limitations then of course we abide by them over our own safety measures 💕.

Rain or shine, tails kept wagging!

Hello lovely pet parents!

We had a wonderfully waggy week here at Mr & Mrs Pecks with our pack of playful pups — and not even the British weather could dampen their spirits!

🌦️ Rain, Sun, and Everything in Between
The weather certainly kept us on our toes! We had soggy paws and sunshine zoomies all in one day. But no worries — we embraced it all!

🐶 Meet the Crew!
We had a fantastic group this week — full of character, cuddles, and charm.

🍽️ Mealtime Moments:
Everyone had a hearty appetite and mealtimes were a calm affair — tails wagging in anticipation and bowls licked clean! Ember was a little picky though at times but a treat mixed in encouraged her appetite 😍

As always, it’s been a joy looking after your furry family members. We love each of their little quirks, and we're so grateful to have them with us.
