Hello! What a crazy few weeks!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have finally moved into my home 🏡🔑
I still can't quite believe it and have lots of decorating to do and a well deserved rest I think! 🥰

Thank you all so much for your continued support throughout the troublesome years 🥰 I love telling everyone how much I love my job and my clients ❤️ I can't wait to see what the future holds and create the perfect space for all of you and your doggos! Watch this space the next coming months 🤭👀

First week here at Pooch Parlour Thurlaston 🥰

It's been lots of stress and hard work but all the girls here have made me feel so welcome and it's been lovely to be in a new environment that I can't wait for you all to see 🥰🐾

Thank you all for your continued support during hard times and moving location a few times 🙈 it blows my mind that you have all been so amazing and supportive. I honestly love grooming all your dogs and making sure they look as cute as they can be with lots of love and patience along the way 🥰

Hello guys!

Firstly, I want to wish you all a happy new year and hope you have all had a lovely time with family and friends over Christmas and new years 😊

This will be a long post so I do apologise in advance! But I have some very exciting news!

From the 13th of February I will be moving location to Thurlaston Garden Center, on Croft Rd, Thurlaston, Leicester LE9 7TB (just past Earl Shilton) into a brand new salon!

I have been so excited and nervous to share this news with you all, as I have moved about quite a bit over the last few years. With my current situation at home, finding a house that would accommodate my family and a salon with no issues around parking and noise disturbance on a single parent income is not an easy feat. With this in mind I have been trying to figure out what is best for me and you, I have finally found somewhere that will ensure that you and your doggies experience with me is absolutely top notch.

I'm excited to say that with this move I will be able to have a more stable and professional setting, and I will still be able to uphold the highest standards for you and your doggies with the salon being specifically designed to ensure that dogs are not overwhelmed by noise and are in a safe and secure environment 😊 oh! Did I mention that the garden center also has a beautiful cafe that is very welcoming of dogs and do a lovely range of food for you to enjoy 😋

I'm so excited to share my journey with you and would love to see all your doggos and faces in the new salon 🥰

I will be renting a table, therefore any bookings with me will still be the same, hours will be slightly changing to 9-5.
I will still be working Thursday, Friday and Saturdays only.

I am currently going through my price list and seeing if there are any adjustments I need to make as some of you have not had any price increases at all. I will be rolling out a new pricing structure during the year for old and new clients.

I truly appreciate all your love and support, and it has really meant alot to me that the clients I have already told are absolutely happy with this transition and has gave me the confidence I really needed. I am thrilled to say my business is still going strong and I can't wait to welcome you all to the new salon, with lots of fun new things in store this year 🥰

Wow what can I say! Thank you so much to all of you for all your gifts and tips this year 🥰 and thank you so much for supporting me throughout the year 💖 It's been a tough year with moving and organising work around a busy hectic life and I truly appreciate all of your patience ❤️

Me, Billy and Forrest wish you all a very Merry Christmas, we are very excited to have a visit from santa 🎅 🎄🎉

I will be having a very well earned week off and in the new year there will be a exciting announcement 😀 I'm so excited to share with you all what is in store for me and my business, I will be doing a post announcement on the 2nd of January so watch this space! Yay! All moved into the new salon and home 🥰
Thank you all so much for your patience and support during the last few months it's very much appreciated 😊❤️ I'm excited for all new adventures 😀

The following few months I will be contacting you the Monday before your appointment to inform you of the new address and if there will be a slight time change (give or take 30mins) to allow the salon as a whole to run smoothly 🙂 I will also inform of your new prices 🙂

Hello everyone!

As many of you are now aware that I will be moving house, this is a stressful time and I just want to thank you all for being so patient with me and giving me all kinds of advice and help during it all, and now I am pleased to say I will be moving in just over 2 weeks time! 😊

This doesn't mean I won't be working anymore so please don't panic 😊 I will be working from another salon and I will message you all privately with more details of the address and parking procedures, so please bare with me as me and the salon owner will be ironing out some finer details once we start getting into the swing of things as we wouldn't want to have any issues regarding parking and arriving at the wrong house! 🙈
As most of you are aware, over the last year my circumstances have changed drastically and with this in mind I will have to implement a price increase on everyone's grooms. This is will between a £5-10 increase on for small to medium dogs and £10-15 for medium to large dogs I will speak to you all individually to inform you of my new pricing for your dogs, but this will come into effect over the next few months. I know this is quite an increase, however this is something I have put off for a very long time as I haven't placed a price increase on many dogs since I've set up my own business to keep costs as low as possible for you all. If you have any issues please get in contact with me to discuss further. I have worked really hard to be in the position I'm in and I love my job so much and as cost of living has increased over the last few years and other factors are going to put in place to cover new utility costs, I have no other choice to increase my prices. I have done some research and have noticed I am also one of the lowest charging dog groomers in the area, and I feel the fees I charge do not reflect the work and care I put into every dog that comes into my salon, to me it's more than just a job, not only is it my livelihood but it's the best job ever to see all your amazing doggies with their quirks and silly cuteness and to make them feel all fresh and pampered and to ensure you are absolutely happy with their groom everytime. I wouldnt want to give it all up due to finances.

I really do genuinely appreciate all of you for all your patience and understanding during the past few years, I can't wait to see you all in the new salon and have a nice fresh start 😊

Wow! What can I say! Thank you so so much for my lovely gifts and tips this year and every year! I'm honestly lost for words, I'm so proud of my self for celebrating my 3rd Christmas self employed but I wouldn't be at this point without all you amazing people and your beautiful and handsome doggies for continously making my dream a reality. Not only that but being such a constant support both professionally and personally, I always brag about how amazing my clients are, but also how you all are so supportive and how you are have not only been there for me but helped each other out with swapping appointments with each other to help groove with everyone's lives. My hat goes off to you all, you and your doggies are all so amazing, I'm so proud to have such amazing clients! So here's a toast to you all, Thank you all so much from my bottom of my heart.
