We've had an email today advising that we have been nominated for a Make A Difference Award, we'd just like to express our gratitude to whoever nominated us 💜

We had an email from Blue Cross UK yesterday regarding our Pets at Home Hinckley donation collections. They had been told we had closed and wanted us to confirm the information!

The vultures are out already as we hadn't even had chance to tell Blue Cross UK ourselves!! We have a great relationship with them so they did tell us who it was!!
We also made recommendations for our replacement in store

You will never replace us nor do what we did .... Fact!!!

After a long chat amongst ourselves we decided, with immediate effect, that Community Pet Food Bank has closed its doors...

After a long chat amongst ourselves we decided, with immediate effect, that Community Pet Food Bank has closed its doors for good.

We, unfortunately, are getting very little donations so cannot sustain keeping it open and stressing ourselves out about it. Losing the donation tub from Tesco was a massive loss and we did fight for it the last time but not willing to do it again. Our own lives have also gotten busy and that does take priority. We have absolutely loved being able to help and are so grateful for everyone's donations, help and encouragement over the past 3 years but it is time for us to hang up our hat.

The very little we have left will be donated to Hinckley Food Bank and/or local rescues.

We've been to Tesco Hinckley today to collect the last of the donations, that were collected before they had their refit.

They are not continuing with the donation bin in the Hinckley store, which is a huge loss for us but we thank them for helping out over the last 3 years and for this last collection xx

While we are having our break, if anyone is in urgent need, the attached photos gives you information on all the local foodbanks x
They use a referral/voucher service so you would need to contact Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council or Citizens Advice first xx

Hinckley Community Fridge, so you will need to check the page for opening times xx

Also Vicki Pidcock from Fosse Villages Animal Foodbank has offered their help if anyone needs emergency help x Thank you Vicki xx
