✨ A little life & Rattery update ✨

Due to my health, and with another surgery planned, I’ve made the decision to put all breeding plans on hold.

At the moment, I don’t know when - or if - this will change, so I wanted to be open about that.

The page will of course continue, and I’ll still be here to support all of our existing owners whenever needed 🩶

I know this may be disappointing for those currently on the waitlist, and I’m really grateful for your patience and support 🐀💜

We do also have some slightly older rats currently looking for homes, so if you’d be interested in welcoming some into your home or mischief, please feel free to reach out for more information 🩶

A little Mother’s Day appreciation from the ratties today 🐭💜

Motherhood comes in many forms, and today we’re also giving a little nod to the wonderful rat mamas here who work so hard raising their little ones.

Here is a little throwback to Pixie with her babies 🥰 One very proud (and very busy!) rattie mum.

To all the amazing mums out there, whether you’re raising small humans, caring for animals, or doing both - we hope your day is filled with cuddles, snacks, and a little bit of well earned rest.

Apparently this basket comfortably fits… all of them 🐀🐁🐀🐁

✨ A little life & rattery update ✨

You may have noticed things have been a little quieter on the page recently. Life has been quite busy behind the scenes and I’ve also recently had surgery, so I’m focusing on recovery and taking things a little slower for a while.

The ratties here, of course, are completely unaware of any of that and are still living their best mischievous lives 🐁🩶

Thank you as always to everyone who follows along with the page and supports the rattery, it really does mean a lot 🥰

Now for the exciting part… we have a couple of lovely pairings planned over the next few weeks, so hopefully there will be some very exciting updates to share soon 🤞🏼🐾

This trend is everywhere at the moment… and honestly, I couldn’t not jump on it 😅🐭

So here we are — paperwork, admin, rats everywhere, and a very accurate snapshot of life lately 😂💜

On a more important note though, all three of our current litters are growing and developing beautifully. Confident, curious, and full of personality already — we couldn’t be happier with how they’re coming along 🥰

Over the next week, these little ones will start heading off to their new homes, which is always equal parts exciting and emotional. We’re so grateful to everyone waiting so patiently and giving them such lovely futures 🩶

Busy days, happy hearts, and absolutely no rat-related admin ever being done uninterrupted 🐭📋✨

Everyone was very excited, so good photos were hard to come by as dining etiquette went out the window 🙈😅
All thoroughly enjoyed — and as always, peas were a huge hit all round 😂

To all of our wonderful Oh Rats! owners — thank you so much for continuing to share updates, photos, and little snippets of how your rats are getting on 🐭✨

It genuinely means the world to us 🥰.

Not only is it lovely to see our babies growing, thriving, and being so clearly loved, but those updates are incredibly important. They help us track temperament, health, and longevity over time, and allow us to keep making thoughtful, informed decisions when planning future pairings. It’s a huge part of how we work towards strong, healthy lines 🩶

These two dumbo girls from Callie’s ‘Shadow & Snow’ litter are just scrumptious 🥰🐭🩶

Still very much in that adorable stage where their ears look far too big for their tiny heads 😂😍 — all soft fuzz, curious noses, and maximum baby charm!

We’re completely smitten with these little ladies already 💕✨
