🚨 The Dog Swim is BACK!!! 🚨

Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September.
Bookings will go live on Sunday 14th August at 10pm.
Sessions will be Online Bookable ONLY. So make sure you’ve Registered on our Website and Downloaded the “Fusion Lifestyle” app.
£10 Per dog (1 Adult and 1 Human)
If you wish to bring an extra Human please book a 'spectator' space. These spectator spaces are £3 and are very limited.
1.5 Hour session ⏰

Session times:
Saturday 3rd : 13:30-15:00, 15:30-17:00
Sunday 4th: 09:00-10:30, 11:00-12:30, 13:00-14:30, 15:00-16:30, 17:00-18:30

Few simple rules:
• Good Dogs Only
• Adults only 16+
• Ratio of 1 Adult Human : 1 Dog 🐶 🥰
• You are allowed in the water 🌊
• You are responsible for YOUR Dog
• Brush them before you come 😁

Every dog has it’s day and it's the last couple of days of season, no public sessions after. 😎

⚠️ HOT WEATHER WARNING ⚠️

With the heat rising again this week, I’m taking precautions once more to help keep the dogs as safe as I can.
As it seems to be getting on from very early on, and unfortunately I cannot be in two places at once (maybe one day 🤞), I will either be offering you walks in the evening OR half hour walks just to get them out safely.
If at any point I think it is too hot to walk the dogs, I can offer you some pet sitting to keep them company if you’re out.
If we are on a walk and I think it’s getting too warm, I will turn around and bring the dog(s) back. This is simply for their health.

BLUE GREEN ALGAE WARNING.
We have recently had a case of Blue Green Algae poisoning after access to water at Apex Park. Blue Green Algae is caused by the hot weather. Please prevent your dogs from swimming and drinking in the water at Apex Park and other sources of open water such as Canals.
Symptoms can include vomiting (with or without blood), abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, weakness, jaundice and shock, These symptoms can occur up to 24hours after exposure and can take up to a week to improve. Sadly some toxins in the algae can cause toxins to the brain causing excessive salivation, twitching, slow heart rate, slow breathing, wobbliness, paralysis and coma. Symptoms can occur as soon as 15 minutes following exposure and can be fatal as soon as 45 minutes after exposure.
THERE IS NO ANTIDOTE TO THE TOXIN.
Supportive treatment can be given as needed.

JASMINE is one of our puppy farm Beagles now ready for adoption. She is the slightly more confident one and is a very friendly girl that enjoys some human attention. She is around 7 years old and has spent the best part of her life used for breeding and is now searching for her happy ever after and home comforts. Whilst Jasmine is not used to children she could potentially live with calm older children following successful introductions at the centre.

She could also live with another dog OR be the only dog in the home as long as she isn’t left on her own for long periods, any time she is left will need to be built up gradually. Jasmine will also need a potential adopter that has the time and patience to help her settle into a home environment, something she has never experienced before. There will be lots of things that will be new for her and which she will be wary of so there will need to be understanding. She may also need house training.

Unfortunately DRAKE is again in search of that forever home. He will need someone that can be totally committed to providing him with the behavioural training he needs as he can get over stimulated. He is looking for an adult only home as when he gets really excited he can nip.

He is a very confident little chap that enjoys human company but will need ongoing help with his etiquette around other dogs and further lead training. He will also need time to adjust to a new home and leaving him on his own will need to be built up gradually.
