โ๏ธ Hot Weather Warning for Pets โ๏ธ
With temperatures rising, please help keep your pets safe during the warm weather:
๐พ Walk dogs early morning or later in the evening
๐พ Avoid hot pavement. If itโs too hot for your hand, itโs too hot for paws
๐พ Make sure fresh water and shade are always available
๐พ Never leave pets in cars, even for a few minutes
๐พ Watch for signs of heatstroke: excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or collapse
Flat-faced breeds, older pets, overweight pets, and young animals are especially at risk.
๐ Please see the โHow Hot Is Too Hot?โ chart below for guidance on temperature safety and risk levels for pets.
