Bullet, Loki, and Lexi came to see us for their neutering recently. They made themselves cosy and comfortable in their kennel together before taking it in turns to go through for their surgery!
Once they had all recovered from their anaesthetics and each had a small bland meal, they were returned to their nice big kennel to start their snuggle again 💚

We love seeing all the creative and tasty names when your pets come in.
Beautiful Mango came in to see us for her vaccines, and we couldn't resist a cuddle before her appointment! 💚

Did you know that May is Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month?

We have a fantastic team of nurses at Temple End who work tirelessly to help the vets, support reception, promote healthy habits, prevent the spread of infection, train the newer generations of nurses (and vets too!), and most importantly: care for the pets who come in to see us! 💚
It would be impossible to list every little thing the nurses do, but stay tuned for some insights into what it means to be a Veterinary Nurse!

Happy Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month!

Our veterinary nurses are so skilled and work tirelessly to make sure your pets are safe and have the best time in our practice! We have a very skilled group of nurses working here at Temple End both students and RVNs who assist the vets in making sure everything runs smoothly day to day. In honour of this month we will be having more Nurse related posts so people can understand more of what is involved in this amazing role! Here are some snips of what’s involved 💚🐾

When Dougie's big brother came in for his vaccination appointment, Dougie came along too for moral support!
While he visited, Dougie hopped on the scales to have his weight updated, then had cuddles with nurse Shelley 💚

Where's the strangest place your cats like to sit?

Handsome Papo visited us for his vaccines and decided he didn't want to sit on the table like everyone else!
Once he gave the keyboard back to vet Rebecca, she was able to write up his notes to say that he was healthy and purrfect! 💚
