I’ve been fitting a new shoe called a duplo shoe which is a composite shoe from Germany.as you can see from the picture it is shoe on the front half and just pad on the rear half,I’ve been trying to correct the foots long toe and low heel which is a common problem .it has been refitted twice now and there is definite signs of improvement.actually had some heel growth to trim off.

This is a picture of a edss (eguine digital support system ) shoe which was used by me and vets to treat a severe laminitis case commonly known as a sinker . Before and after X-rays show good sole growth and good re attachment at the coronary band . Over 4months and 3 refits later I’m happy to say the horse is currently sound and able to walk out in hand 🤗.

Just thought I’d share some before and after photos of a t/b ex racehorse mare which had some very poor feet when I took the job on late last summer.x rays helped a lot in determining what balance work needed to be done. All four feet are now functioning well and horse and owner are looking forward to their first eventing season together,job well done😊
