Running a small business in 2025 is far from easy.
It feels like the world is moving faster than ever and everyone wants things cheaper, quicker, and with free shipping thrown in. But behind every handmade product is time, energy, and a lot of sacrifice. And truthfully, the gap between what people expect and what I can realistically offer is growing wider.
This isn’t a pity post. It’s just the reality.
Things aren’t always incredible. I’m lucky to still be here, and still be making money from this little dream of mine, but I’m also a realist. The rules keep changing. And some days, it’s really hard not to ask myself, “Why am I still doing this?”
I know I’m not alone in feeling this way. So if you’re also struggling, adapting, doubting remember you’re not failing. You’re surviving in a landscape that keeps shifting.
To everyone who’s still here cheering us on, buying, engaging, and sharing: thank you. You keep me going.
And to everyone who’s just now realising how fragile small businesses can be:
If you love us, support us 🩵
