My small wins this week:
🐾 Maggie managed her arousal levels perfectly on a walk with Daphne, my other dog, and a friend!
🐾 Daphne joined me on a couple of 1-2-1’s this week to help some clients progress with their dog distraction training!
🐾 I passed another assignment on my journey to becoming a qualified canine behaviourist!

🐶 Dog Professionals Workshop 🐶

Oh My Dogs is organising a dog professionals workshop in the local area that will be a fabulous way for us all to engage with each other, discuss things that we have in common, hopefully learn some things and build relationships around our shared interest! - that’s dogs btw 🐾

Some local businesses have been running longer than others and I believe the more we can all do to help each others knowledge the more we can all grow and most importantly the more the local dogs can have positive, successful and fun filled lives!

Included in the workshop:

✨ Body language & Stress signal discussions
✨ Q&A discussions
✨ Common misconceptions/ beliefs
✨ Breed specific chat
✨ First aid discussions
✨ Enrichment & Play discussions
✨ Much more . . .

Being who we are and obviously being all about dogs, you’re welcome to bring your dog with you - this will give us an opportunity to see some real life interactions and discuss what we observe. However, as the workshop is taking place in July this part of the workshop may not be doable! 🥵

The workshop will be two - three hours long, timings to be confirmed, and will be held in New Mills at an outdoor venue.

✨ Place training is a fabulous way of teaching calmness, manners and relaxation indoors ✨

I’m currently working through introducing the raised dog bed with my 7 month old pup as she can go from 0 to 100 is a millisecond! 🌪️

This will be her chill spot when out of her crate so that we can have some nice boundaries of when it’s play time (outside) and when it’s time to chill (inside).

The raised platform helps to give a very clear boundary so training is taking no time at all!

✨The gorgeous Harry modelling his new collar from us! ✨

Harry has been having 1-2-1 sessions in the comfort of his home and garden for the last couple of weeks while he got up to date with his vaccines 💉

This week we ventured into the big wide world and he was fabulous, not at all phased!
